SELENE’S POV
Things with Lucas were still going good, he was still treating me better than Steven and Dante had ever treated me. The problem wasn’t Lucas, the problem was his pack members. They treated me like I was a nobody, like I was invisible. I don’t even know why I had expected it to be different here because if there was one thing that I was cursed with it was invisibility. But maybe I expected things to be different because Lucas had told me that it would be different, he told me that everyone was free here and I thought the same would apply to me.
Lucas had noticed that I had been troubled for the past couple of days and he was trying to cheer me up. He didn’t see the fact that I was happy and satisfied with the fact that he didn’t punish me for being unhappy or for complaining.
