The first time I managed to slip into his dreams on my own, it terrified me. I had never done it before and I had never imagined that I would ever revert to magic to reach out to him. After finding Lucas’ books I knew that I could also do what he had done, the only difference was that I would be doing it to warn Dante. He had to know what was coming. I had tried to get through to him a couple of times and almost gave up, I had convinced myself that he had shut me off because when I reached through the bond I was often met with silence and resistance. However someone I managed to break through.
The second time, it thrilled me. The third time, I understood exactly how Lucas had done it and why it had worked so easily on me.
