My mind wandered away when Alpha Damien was talking to me about Caspian and his sudden disappearance. I wouldn’t lie, I wasn’t listening. All I was thinking about was the night when we were at grandfather Kurt’s house.
Everyone had retired to bed. I wanted to take water from the fridge in the kitchen but I had to go back to see Damien and Anaya having their love battle in there.
Just the moment I was going to step feet into my room, I felt a sudden sharp pain that almost made me stagger on my feet. My eyes snapped open and realization set in because I recognized that sharp pain.
