Maya stormed through the forest whispering to herself. The many nights of feverish dreams and omens of death had taken their toll on her tired mind. Kaya’s quick steps drew closer until Maya felt her sister’s concerned eyes match her pace. “Sis, wait! Please stop walking so fast.”
Maya stopped and faced her sister. “I can feel it with every vision, Kaya. I can feel your death getting closer and I don’t know what to do. I’m trying to save you and everyone else is just making jokes!”
