Chapter 33: A Bright Future
Julius and his fellow Droragorian flew through the sky watching the great Sanctuary burn on the distant plains. Kiros broke from the main group and dived toward the burning city of Vesteria below. She flew overhead showering the city in a jet stream of water, extinguishing the flames. The people of Vesteria cheered while their Droragorian saviors flew overhead. When Kiros returned Xia gave her a reverent stare, one of respect. She nodded, condoning Kiros’ first step toward a new future. Dain soared next to them, his eyes wide and mouth ready. “So…let me get this straight,” he began. “We beat an entire castle of angry dragons…”
“Yep,” Dorian replied.
“We fought on a floating city…”
“Yep.”
“We crashed said flying city…”
“Yep.”
“And now…I’m a freaking dragon
