Narita and Nolan examined the baby girl tucked in Marie’s arms. The child smiled at them, playfully giggling with arms outstretched toward them.

“We have to help them, Rita,” Nolan said.
Narita pondered the desperate family’s request. “My father is going to kill me,” she said, slumping her shoulders. “We can help. Follow us,” she replied.
