The meeting

After my date with Noah, we became close. We talked a lot and we were making out all the time. Monah was really happy about that and I was also happy. 

We left for the meeting at 4 this morning and were on our way to the hotel that Noah chose for us. I have to go to the conference centre at 6 tonight so me and Noah had a little time to ourselves for a few hours, obviously we had s*x again, he chose the most romantic room with a city lookout from the balcony.

After me and Noah spent some time together I went to Amy's hotel room and from there we took her car to the conference centre. We arrived there 15 minutes early so I desided to get us some coffee. 

In the meeting we talked about all the progress that our gallery has made in the last 6 months and the CEO was really impressed with me. He told me that he wanted to speak to me after the meeting. It was soon over and Amy told me that she will be waiting for me in the car.

After the meeting I made my way over to the CEO, he was a good looking man in his late 40's. "Sir, you wanted to speak to me?" I asked him. I still didn't know what his name was."Aelianah... Yes, please take a seat, my name is Dan Walt, as you know I own the colourblast franchise." He spoke. 

"Thank you sir, I am honored to work in the galary, I have loved art since I was a child and it has been like a dream come true since I started working there." I told him with respect. "I am pleased to hear that. I actually have a proposition for you." He said looking half excited, but still professional. "Oh, okay" I said confused. 

"I want to open another galary on an island named Haida Gwaii, it's not too far from here. Your salary will increase drastically and if you manage well enough I might give you the galary to call it your own. I am getting old now and I don't want my franchise to die out." 

He said. I was shocked, I wasn't expecting to hear that. It was a great oppertunity but my friends were all in Alma. If I were to move to an island I would rarely ever see them. "Oh wow, that... is a big... oppertunity sir, but I don't... know..." I said hesitantly.

"Aelianah, please don't call me sir, call me Dan. You make me feel even older. I will give you some time to think about it. Here is my card, give me a call when you have an answer." He said giving me a card. "I have to go now. I have somewhere that I must be. Please consider this." He said standing up and making his way to the door. After he left, I stayed there for a little while longer, just thinking about everything. I can't leave my friends, but this is such a big oppertunity.

After thinking for a while I made my way to Amy's car and got in. I told her what Dan told me, I also told her what was bothering me. She seemed happy for me.

 When I got to the hotel room that me and Noah stayed in, I also told him everything. He was also happy for me but I was sad, I didn't want to leave him, Monah and the guys. They were like family to me. I loved them. 

The 3 days flew by really fast and before I knew it me and Noah were back home. "Aeli, I missed you so much!" Monah came running towards me before jumping on top of me. We both fell to the ground but she didn't let go of me. I just stayed quiet. I didn't know what to say to her. 

I felt guilty about thinking about Dan's proposition. "Hey, what's wrong?" Monah asked me, looking concerned. "Monah, we... have to talk"I spoke quietly. "Okay sure. Lets go inside and then we can talk." Monah said before making her way inside. 

We went up to our room and I decided that I wanted to take a bath, while Monah sat on the chair that was inside the bathroom.

"What's wrong hun?" Monah asked me while I layed down in the tub. "Okay, at the meeting the CEO of colourblast made a proposition... he... asked me to... move to an island where he will be opening another galary, he wanted me to run it and he said that if I manage well enough he would give the galary to me?" I said still shocked, even from hearing the words come out of my own mouth. 

Monah just looked at the wall, thinking. "I actually have to tell you something to... my boss also told me that she wanted to move the diner. She said that I have to pick a place. It's a weird coincedence. She said that she was tired of the place and that she wanted to sell it, until I showed up. She wants me to take over but, she wants it far enough from her so that she never has to see it again." Monah said while thinking. "Maybe I could move it to the island that you'll be staying at?" Monah asked. "That is actually the best news I've heard by far, but what about Noah and the guys?" I asked her. "We will figure everything out hun." Monah said with confidence.
