He replays the conversation over and over in his head while fighting off the worst hangover of his life. He shouldn’t have drunk that much. He made a scene at Dominatrix and humiliated himself in front of Hardy. Flashes of the way he bawled like a whiny, needy child fill him with mortifying embarrassment. His pitiful groveling makes him want to hide in shame and never see Hardy again.
His childish behavior pressured Hardy into disclosing an intimate part of his past Luke wasn’t entitled to. They had no kind of relationship that called for such honesty. Luke was in no place to demand the information, but he still appreciated the sincerity.
