Chapter 3A boisterous sound echoes in Luke’s room, disrupting his precious sleep. He cracks his eyes open to glare at the annoying alarm which keeps blasting next to him. He groans and reaches out for his phone to turn off the shrill noise. He palms the device, blinking away the drowsiness that always follows when he has to wake up early for class.
