Luke’s heart thumped happily in his chest at Hardy’s offer to tutor him. It was Hardy who instituted they should not see each other outside of Saturdays. Hardy being the one to break that rule discombobulated him at first, but then a burst of warmth and hope flowed over him. Luke is starting to care for Hardy more than he believed he would, and it looks like Hardy is on the same page.
Luke sits on a chair and opens the planner he acquired just this week. “I have all my textbooks with me, and I bought this planner after what you told me. I organized all the deadlines and the chapter reading we were assigned for each class.”
