### Episode: "The Power of Words" ### Scene 1: Break Time Confessions The bell rings, signaling the start of break time. As students mill about, a crowd forms around Kaylob in the cafeteria. He’s animated, gesturing wildly as he talks. Raina, meanwhile, enters the cafeteria, only to be met with glares and whispers. **Student 1:** And then? What happened Kaylob smirks, relishing the attention. **Kaylob:** Well, let’s just say that Raina wasn’t as innocent as she pretended to be back in 8th grade. Always playing the victim, always looking for attention. Raina walks in, confused by the hostile stares. **Raina:** (softly) What’s going on? Why is everyone looking at me like that? **Kaylob:** (loudly) Well, well, well. Look who decided to show up. Miss "Pick Me" herself. A student steps forward, sneering at Raina. **Student 2:** Drop the act, Raina. We know you’re faking this memory loss. Kaylob told us everything about how you were back then. Raina’s heart pounds as she looks around, searching for a friendly face. Her eyes land on Tamrin, who is standing nearby, watching the scene unfold. **Student 3:** Tamrin, you should stop wasting your time on her. She’s not worth it. Tears well up in Raina’s eyes as she desperately shakes her head, trying to plead her case to Tamrin. **Raina:** (tearfully) Don’t listen to him, Tamrin. He’s lying! He’s always been a liar. Please, believe me! Tamrin’s expression is cold as he gently removes Raina’s hand from his arm and turns away, walking out of the cafeteria. **Raina:** (whispering) Tamrin, no... Kaylob steps forward, a cruel smile on his face. **Kaylob:** Even Tamrin doesn’t believe you. Let’s teach this s**t a lesson. Before Raina can react, students start throwing food and trash at her. She crouches in fear, covering her head with her arms. Just then, Jacob and Edward burst into the cafeteria, shielding her from the barrage. **Jacob:** (angrily) Stop this nonsense! Just because someone says something doesn’t mean it’s true. It could all be lies! Edward helps Raina to her feet, glaring at the crowd. **Edward:** (firmly) Let’s go, Raina. They guide her out of the cafeteria, leaving the students to murmur among themselves. Meanwhile, Tamrin storms into an empty classroom where Yuka is practicing her powers. He’s furious, and without warning, he slaps her. **Yuka:** (shocked) What the hell, Tamrin?! Why did you do that? **Tamrin:** (angry) Why did you use your siren call on me? Why did you manipulate me? Yuka, taken aback, struggles to respond. **Yuka:** I was just practicing my powers. I didn’t think it would— **Tamrin:** (cutting her off) Raina might think I didn’t believe her because of you! You’ve made things worse! Yuka’s expression changes from shock to annoyance. **Yuka:** What if what Kaylob said is true? What if Raina is just pretending? Tamrin’s eyes blaze with anger. **Tamrin:** My Raina is not that kind of person. I know her better than anyone. Yuka, frustrated and hurt, finally lets her emotions spill out. **Yuka:** (confessing) Why do you only care about her? Why can’t you see me, Tamrin? I love you! Tamrin takes a step back, his expression softening just a fraction. **Tamrin:** Yuka, I’m sorry, but I don’t feel the same way. Raina is... she’s special to me. He turns and leaves the room, leaving Yuka standing there, tears of anger and heartbreak streaming down her face. Outside the school, Jacob and Edward lead Raina away from the cafeteria. Her face is streaked with tears, and she’s visibly shaken. **Jacob:** (concerned) Are you okay, Raina? **Raina:** (sniffling) Yes, I’m fine. I just... I need to be alone for a bit. **Edward:** (nodding) Alright. We’ll be around if you need us. Jacob and Edward leave, giving Raina the space she requested. She sits down on a nearby bench, her emotions overwhelming her. She tries to hold back her tears but soon finds herself sobbing uncontrollably. As she cries, the bullies from earlier reappear, their jeers and laughter piercing through her sorrow. One of them grabs her roughly and drags her away from the bench. Raina is pulled into an alleyway and then to a secluded area away from the prying eyes of the school. She looks up, expecting the worst, but is surprised to find herself face-to-face with VA. **Raina:** (confused) Who are you? Why did you pull me away? VA, with a calm and almost charming demeanor, smiles. **VA:** (softly) Shh, it’s alright. I’m your friend. Raina blinks, struggling to place the face before her. **Raina:** (hesitant) I... I don’t remember you. **VA:** (gently) That’s okay. We’ve been friends for a long time. I’m here to help you. Raina, still disoriented and vulnerable, takes a deep breath. **Raina:** (quietly) If you say we’re friends, then... I trust you. VA nods reassuringly. **VA:** (smiling) That’s good. Let’s go. I’ll show you around the town. We’ll have a good time. VA leads Raina through the bustling streets, showing her various landmarks and places of interest. He keeps up a friendly and engaging conversation, ensuring that she is comfortable and distracted from her troubles. **VA:** (enthusiastically) Look at this place! I thought you’d enjoy it. Raina looks around, her mood lifting slightly as she takes in the sights. **Raina:** (smiling faintly) This is really nice. I’m glad you brought me here. **VA:** (grinning) I’m happy to hear that. I wanted to make sure you had a good day, despite everything that’s happened. They continue to explore, and VA ensures that Raina is enjoying herself. As they walk, VA occasionally looks at her, gauging her reactions and making small talk to keep the atmosphere light. As the day winds down, VA and Raina sit on a park bench, overlooking a tranquil fountain. The mood is peaceful, and Raina seems to be in a better state of mind. **VA:** (gently) So, did you enjoy your day? **Raina:** (nodding) Yes, I did. Thank you for showing me around. I... I needed this. VA’s smile is warm and reassuring. **VA:** (kindly) I’m glad to hear that. Remember, I’m always here for you. Raina smiles back, feeling a sense of comfort and relief. She looks at VA with a sense of newfound trust, her earlier fears momentarily forgotten. Tamrin, visibly distressed, roams the school grounds, searching for Raina. He spots Jacob and Edward standing together near the main hallway. With a sense of urgency, he approaches them. **Tamrin:** (worried) Have either of you seen Raina? I’ve been looking everywhere. Jacob and Edward exchange a glance, their expressions a mix of frustration and concern. **Jacob:** (angry) So you finally care, huh? **Tamrin:** (confused) What are you talking about? I’m just trying to find her. **Edward:** (grimly) Yuka filled us in. We know about your little scheme and how you might have let Raina think you didn’t believe her. **Tamrin:** (defensive) I didn’t mean for any of this to happen. I— Before Tamrin can finish, Edward interrupts. **Edward:** (intensely) Even if she lost her memory, she still loves you. But now, she’s hurt and confused. **Jacob:** (firmly) Is that true, Tamrin? Do you really love her? Tamrin looks at them, his resolve firming. **Tamrin:** (sincerely) Yes, I love her. More than anything. **Edward:** (determined) If you don’t confess your feelings to her today, I will. She deserves to know the truth. Tamrin’s face turns red with a mixture of anger and hurt. He clenches his fists. **Tamrin:** (angrily) Don’t you dare. She’s already been through enough. **Jacob:** (trying to mediate) Tamrin, calm down. We all want what’s best for her. Tamrin’s frustration peaks, and he takes a swing at Edward, but Jacob steps in, stopping the punch. **Jacob:** (firmly) Enough. We need to focus on finding Raina and making things right. Tamrin takes a deep breath, struggling to control his emotions. **Tamrin:** (softly) I do love her. And I will do everything I can to make this right. Determined, Tamrin, Jacob, and Edward set out to find Raina. As they search, Tamrin reflects on his feelings, the weight of his love for Raina clear in his mind. **Tamrin:** (to himself) I need to tell her. She has to know how I feel.
