Leaving the house wasn't a walk in the park as I wasn't even allowed to step out of the house for any reason and my only chance to freedom was to resign which I told them about.

"Why do you want to resign?"

"Are we not paying enough?" They asked me together. They didn't look angry, they only looked worried. I couldn't tell that the main reason I wanted to resign was because I found out that they were cannibals, I could be thier next meal.

"I just got a call that my mother is sick" I lied.

" How sick is she" Mrs Colin asked suspiciously looking at me. I was sweating profusely.

"Very sick"

"I still have your brother's number the one that told me about you, I will send some more to him to take care of your mother"Me Colin said taking his phone.

" No sir, don't bother sending any money" I said. Mr Colin looked at me coldly

"I don't understand a thing that is going on here but I will tell you this, you are not leaving this house until your work contract is over in a year. Do you hear me" He said sternly.

I was shaken to the bone and all I could do was nod.

Later that day I was taking the backyard that was littered with leaves. I raked absentmindedly cause my mind was occupied with so many things. How would I survive cooking human meat with this people.

I hit a stubborn small tree stump with the rake. I wanted to leave it but something told me to take it out. So I got a shovel and started digging round the stump so I will be able to take out the root with ease. The stump was hard to remove so I dug father down to get to the main root.

As I was digging, I saw something unfamiliar burrier in the ground. My attention switched to my new discovery as I started digging out the object.

Lo and behold It was a skull tat still has rotting flesh on it.

I pressed my hand on my mouth to stop me from shouting. A human skull buried in my employer's backyard. Not only are they cannibal, they are also murderers.
