Several events occurred at the particular moment when the bucket reached the end of its line deep within the well. Events that would define his life from that moment on.
At around 1:30am, of that morning, the brick structure of the church cooled eighty degrees from its surroundings. The droplets of rain, as they fell and touched the masonry, sizzled into small ice particles on contact.
