Standing at the doorway, the room was dark. There was but one source of light – a simple candle above the fireplace mantle. The room appeared a deep red color, the timber walls must have reflected in this manner. His eyes adjusted quickly, and the first sight was that of the man in the suit. The same man he had met the night before. The man stood in the middle of the room, smiling his smile. He stood over what appeared to be a bed. The rocking chair wasn’t there anymore, but instead it was a cot. He dreaded this. That cot, he knew what it was. It was what had tormented him in his dreams the past few weeks.
