I am in what you would consider purgatory, neither here nor there, but instead a soul in the life of the world: An abomination. However, when I consider the alternative of what could have become of me, I would gladly spend eternity alone in that “box” on the dresser. I know the torment that follows the creature, as I felt it but for a few seconds before I was able to escape him. The torment is without pause, without remorse, nor forgiveness. Nothing. No, that was to be my due for feeding Him, for falling into his clutches and forgetting the true faith of the world. That was to be my punishment.
