CHAPTER 28 He found the back door slightly ajar, so he kicked it open. He entered the church without fear, but instead with determination, courage, and a fair amount of rage. The aura of the church was the same as before. The darkness permeated every nodule of matter inside. The abysmal earthy odors that emanated the last time now seemed less revolting, less cumbersome to his nose and stomach.
