Emery suddenly went limp and it took all of Lina’s strength to prevent her head from hitting the rock they’d been sitting on.
“Help! Someone, please help!”
Luckily the family with the little girl was still close by, and the dad hurried over while the mom spoke excitedly into her cell phone. Within minutes, a stocky woman in uniform showed up. Between the three of them, they managed to get Emery down to the rangers’ station where another man in uniform already waited.
