Hailey felt sad and disappointed as she leaned against the wall inside the prison. It's been three days since Ashvan ordered her to be imprisoned for a crime she didn't commit. And during those three days, Ashvan didn't even visit her in prison. He didn't even check to see if she was doing okay in that cold place. It seems he doesn't care about her.
The floor of the prison was cold and if her maids hadn't brought her a thick comforter to sleep on, she would have been shivering from the cold every night. Her two maids took turns bringing her food and drink, so she didn't go hungry. She was grateful that the guards allowed her maids to come in and bring her the things she needed while she was imprisoned.
