Chapter 33 Lieutenant General Teng of the Special Unit leaned back in his chair, forehead creased with lines and a greying mop of hair hung loosely around his ears. He glanced at the gold watch that his wife had given him and wondered if she’d be offended if he bought himself a new one. Opposite him sat Chief Inspector Christopher Johnson and Lim Su Sung, his senior inspector of police. There were jugs of water on the table as well as numerous files and papers spread over the surface but there already seemed to be a tension between the two groups.
