I keep waiting for an opening to strike. By the next week, I think I have Edward's trust, and I don’t have to ask myself about his love for me because I know he does. We're having dinner when he suddenly announces, "I haven't been to work for a while since I've been working from home, Henry has been covering for me. There is something that I have to go into the office and do by myself there tomorrow, so I won't be here during the day. But I'll be back before dinner, I promise. Are you going to be okay?"
