First Night Together

Naina's POV

From the past two days, I and Kabir are not sharing a room together which for me was a relief! Seriously when Maa told me about this I was literally jumping from inside as there was already so much which was kind of troubling my piece of mind and of course, I wasn't ready to take that step right now. As according to Kabir's parents it was important to perform some rituals first and I honestly love them for this!

When I realized I will be going to my home I became so excited but that excitement couldn't even last for a moment as before tomorrow I have to face today's night which I guess is going to be far from blissful.

I have been sharing Sanaya's room and she was too sweet and cooperative with me making me feel as comfortable as she can which made my heart melt. I was in Sanaya's room still feeling sleepy as it was just 7 in the morning but it was time for me to get and perform my morning business!

Sanaya was still sleeping soundly when I woke up, this is what I most miss, I wish I could be single again and sleep as peacefully as she was sleeping, it is too late for that I guess. Taking a quick shower Today I decided to wear a blue color simple saree which was elegant and way too simple. I was busy draping my Saree when I heard somebody knocking the door and without even thinking I said come in.

After saying yes I was back to my business of draping Saare but guess what, it is quite difficult to wrap one! After all, I am not an expert... After struggling for about 3-4 minutes I was now struggling with my pin. I froze when someone touched my bare back. Instantly I knew who it was. Okay, this is not a time to react but my body always reacts to his touch no matter what. My body always betray me!

He gently took hold of my Saree pallu and pin it. Then turned me so that I can face him and I was already embarrassed as I had no clue what to say to that.

"Say thank you, i***t!" My subconscious nudged me but I shooed it away.

Before I could thank him, He said," shush don't say anything. I know what you are thinking I am here because I wanted to see you before anybody else does so just come with me otherwise Sanaya will wake up and we both don't want to embarrass ourselves in front of her. To be very honest she is the worst person when it comes to teasing." He whispered in my ear emphasizing every word and giving me goosebumps.

I nodded as I still was unable to form words. I was in shock with what is he doing with me? why me? I don't know where my voice goes when he is near me, I don't know why his every gesture affects my every nerve! What made me nervous was the fact why does he want to see me?

He took my hands in his as if that was the most natural thing to do and we went to his room. The moment we enter I couldn't help but notice that his room was specifically dominated by Brown and white colors. He said," as you can see that until yesterday this was my room but after today it will be ours so I want you to decorate it the way you want. Although we will be living here for only 3-4 days, if you want to change anything then just let me know"

I was left speechless I mean how can anybody be so thoughtful. What have I done to deserve him. He just thinks about me too much.

"To be very honest it does not matter to me that we are living here only for few days or for the rest of our lives this room tells me about your childhood and I will never do anything to erase that memory, Kabir. For me this is perfect!" I said meaning every single word. If I wanted I could have told him how we can renovate it but when I looked at his room, my eyes fell on his childhood photos, his trophies which stood at the top right corner of his shelf. I saw his childhood in it and I couldn't erase that, I would rather embrace it and accept it the way it was.

Now it was his time of being speechless. He came close to me and said," Thank you" and then hugged me. At first, I was too shocked to react but when I was not reacting Kabir started to lose his grip on mine then I gathered all my courage and hugged him back. I was busy inhaling his scent which alone is capable of making me lose all my senses. Then we heard a soft knock. We both became a little too embarrassed.

"Bhai it is time you can leave Naina bhabhi and come down to have your breakfast. Everybody is waiting for you two!" Sanaya said standing at the entrance and giggling all the way.

I was all red and seriously Kabir was right about Sanaya. Also, I mentally chided myself for being overpowered by these unknown emotions.

The whole day just went in a blur. In the morning I made dessert for everybody since it was a ritual and also received rewards in return. The best that I received was a purple color saree which maa gave me. It is just like the way I expected to be! Finally, it was time for dinner and Kabir has still not arrived!

I am the only one who was right now in the living room since Maa and Sanaya are busy decorating the room for our first night together. I told them to not do this, but they were too excited and adamant to do what they intended to do.

After waiting for like fifteen minutes more we all gathered in the living room to have our dinner. I was not concentrating and was busy playing with my food, my all appetite was gone just with the mere thought of tonight. But still managed to eat something so that I can avoid the unwanted attention.

I was made to change into a green color saree which looked more like a lehenga and now I am in Kabir's room waiting for him! I heard someone coming towards the room and immediately got nervous.

"Hey, everything is good, right? You didn't have your food properly I noticed Naina" Kabir said locking the door and concern was clear in his voice.

"Yeah. Actually, I am good I was not hungry" I said playing with my fingers.

"Ooh. Maa and Sanaya surely made soo many efforts in decorating this room" Kabir asked me watching everything in awe.

True enough for almost two hours they both were decorating this room. The whole room was filled with roses everywhere. Candles were also there. In fact in this room surely screams of romance!

"Yeah they really did," I said quietly.

"So you can take the bed and I can sleep on the couch," he said more like told me and trust me from inside I was happy like hell but was also a little disappointed. Don't know why?

"Why?" I asked him without even thinking what I am asking.

"Naina I know we both need time. I understand. Even for me, this is new." He said in a very soft tone as if telling himself more rather than telling me.

"I know Kabir but what is the need of sleeping on the couch. It is not like I am going to r**e you! " I said again without even thinking about what I was saying. What is wrong with me?

"Well even if you want to you cannot r**e me!" Kabir stated as a matter of fact.

"Ooh, really but mister you don't need to worry I won't do anything because I am not interested," I said raising an eyebrow at him.

"Well even if you tried to do any such thing than just FYI I know martial arts," he said happily as if he is seriously going to use this technique of his on me.

At this remark, I laughed uncontrollably and noticed that Kabir was also laughing uncontrollably. After this stupid conversation, I went to the washroom to change into my night clothes.

The moment I came back I said," don't worry Kabir you can share the bed with me".

He obliged and said," we are going to have a pillow wall otherwise".

I just smirked and rolled my eyes at this remark of his. We both went to sleep and I thought who would have thought this night will turn out to be like this!!!!!
