I tried so hard to give Valerie a convincing gaze, to make her believe me but she just walked away. I cursed under my breath and followed her behind.
"Leave me alone, Damian. I just want to be left alone. This is a whole lot to take in." She said, standing at a distance which made me halt.
"But I just gave you a suggestion now. Don't tell me that you believe the son is mine when we have no proof."
"Proof? Do you really think that Claire would leave everything she is doing and come here to tell lies? Or perhaps you thinks she is pulling pranks? Think like a man that you are, Damian!"
