Liam tried eveything he could to get over his EX. A Few months later, Liam came across Evelyn at the examination center, seeing her stirred something inside him, which made him want to try to love again. Evelyn was shocked, she didn't know what to say at that moment. She looked at him, she began to understand why Liam reacts the way he did, so Evelyn held Liam hands and promised Liam that she's never going to cheat on him or break his heart, like his EX did. "Thanks", Liam said; That reassurance is all i needed" As the sun began to set, Evelyn turns to Liam, and said "I need to go home now the sun is setting already, my parents are going to be worried" "It's fine" Liam replied; "I'll drop you off". They got into the car and drove 2miles down the street, When they reached Evelyn's house, she was about to step out of the car when she remembered what Liam said so he comforted him and gave him a hug, but as they held each other, their emotions took control and they kissed before she finally stepped out of the car. That evening, As Evelyn laid on her bed to sleep, a strange feeling came over her. She felt something about Liam isn't right. She didn't know whether to trust Liam's past about his EX or not, she felt she needed to hear from the both side but there's no way she could do that. She had a gut feeling, she felt something was off, Evelyn had always trusted her gut but for the first time she choose to ignore it. Evelyn was naturally intuitive, often trusting her instincts, her instincts never lie to her, but this time she pushed her thought aside, convincing herself it was nothing, yet her mind wouldn't rest. She recalled every detail from the first day she met Liam- the way he dressed, his hair, the way he spoke, even the way his brother had behaved. Everything about him felt.....different. Evelyn also noticed that whenever she's chatting with Liam, he constantly brought up s****l topics- he talks about kissing, s*x and similar things. She felt uncomfortable and repeatedly asked him to stop, but Liam brushed her off saying "You're my girlfriend, I'm supposed to tell you all this". Realizing he's not going to stop, Evelyn tried not to let it bother her again. During one of their chats, she asked, " How do you even know all this? Is someone teaching you?" Liam laughed and said, "Yes my brother taught me all of it". Shocked,Evelyn responded, oh wow so your brother taught you all this? Well That's not okay. You're too young for this-it shouldn't be happening." But Liam dismissed her concern, saying, "There's nothing bad about it. My brother is just enlightening me, that's all." “Besides, we’re going to have s*x soon,” Liam said casually. Evelyn froze for a moment before replying, “What?! What did you just say? We’re not doing that! No way!” She continued, “For your information, I’m waiting until marriage before I do anything like that. And even if I won't wait, I’d still want to be at least 20 before I even think about it!” Liam looked surprised but tried to brush it off. “You don’t have to wait that long. We’re in a relationship—it’s normal.” But Evelyn stood her ground. “I don’t care what you think is normal. I’ve made my decision, and nothing’s going to change that.” Liam smirked through the phone and replied "Okay". So are you still a virgin? Liam asked Evelyn paused and irritated by the question he asked, "Yes, Liam, I am a virgin and I'm proud of it." Liam chuckled and replied, "Relax, I was just curious, you don't need to take it personal. Evelyn replied and said, I'm not taking it personal, I just don’t like how every conversation with you turns into this—talking about s*x. I’ve told you before, I’m not comfortable with it.” Liam responded, “It’s not a big deal, Evelyn. You’re my girlfriend. These are things we should be able to talk about.” Evelyn: "There's a difference between talking and s*x chatting. If you can’t respect my boundaries, then maybe we should end this relationship.” Liam: "Alright, alright, it's fine, we won't talk about s*x again okay". Eveyln: "Good, let's keep it that way." But Evelyn is still unsure if Liam understands her feelings. The next day, Evelyn and Liam were chatting again when Liam asked, “Hey, can we hang out together today?” Evelyn paused, she felt uneasy. She didn’t want to agree, but Liam kept pressuring . “Come on, Evelyn. It’ll be fun. Let’s just spend some time together.” Reluctantly, she said, “Okay, fine. But where are we going?” Liam smiled and replied, “Don’t worry about it. I’m taking you out.” Evelyn insisted. “No, I need to know where we’re going first.” After a pause, Liam said, “I’m taking you to a hotel. That’s where I’m staying with my brother.” Evelyn was shocked. “Wait, what? You’re staying in a hotel? Why didn’t you tell me?” Liam shrugged. “Yeah, we’re staying at a hotel because we’re not from here. I don’t live in this town—I just came here for my exams.” “Oh, wow,” Evelyn murmur, trying to process the information. “I… I don’t know about going to a hotel.” “There’s nothing wrong with it,” Liam said reassuringly. “It’s just a place to talk. You can trust me.” Evelyn still didn’t feel comfortable, but Liam kept convincing her until she reluctantly agreed. “Fine,” she finally said. “But I swear, if anything weird happens, I’m leaving immediately.” Liam laughed lightly. “Relax, Evelyn. You’ll be fine.” When they arrived at the hotel, Evelyn’s nerves were on edge. She couldn’t shake the fear that Liam might try something inappropriate. The thought of being alone in a hotel room with him made her stomach stir. Once inside, they sat down and talked for a few minutes. To Evelyn’s surprise, Liam didn’t try anything. Their conversation stayed light and casual, and he even made her laugh a couple of times. After a short while, Liam said, “Alright, let’s get you back home.” It's getting late, your parents will be worried, he said" with a spontaneous smile on his face." Evelyn nodded, feeling both relieved and puzzled. She couldn’t fully understand why she had been so scared, but she was glad nothing had happened. Liam walked her to the car, and they drove back to her house in silence. As she stepped out of the car, Evelyn turned to Liam and said, “Thanks for the ride. Goodnight.” “Goodnight,” Liam replied with a small smile before driving off. Evelyn went to bed that night feeling a little more at ease, but deep down, she knew she still had questions about Liam—and about their relationship. After a week of spending time together—hanging out, chatting. Liam prepared to return to his town with his brother. But he didn’t tell Evelyn. He feared she might react the same way his ex had when she found out he left. That weekend, Liam left town with his brother. Evelyn had no idea, but they stayed in touch through their usual calls and texts. Two days later, during a FaceTime call, Evelyn noticed something different about Liam’s surroundings. She squinted at the screen and asked, “Liam, are you out of town?” Liam paused, After a moment, he admitted, “Yes, I am.” Evelyn frowned, “Why didn’t you tell me, Liam?” “I’m sorry,” he said quickly. “I didn’t want you to act the way my ex did when she found out I left.” Evelyn’s expression changed , and she said, “I’m not your ex, Liam. Don’t compare me to her.” After a deep breath, Evelyn softened her tone. “You know what? It’s fine. It’s fine.” Liam looked guilty. “I really am sorry, Evelyn. I didn’t mean to upset you.” “It’s fine ,” Evelyn said calmly, though her mind was racing. “Let’s just move on.” But even as they continued their conversation, a small part of Evelyn couldn’t shake the feeling of unease about Liam’s behavior.
