"How are you feeling?" I asked gently, stroking the soft texture of Alyssa's dark hair as she lay on the bed.
"Rough," Was all Alyssa said. She seemed subdued, her eyes not particularly focusing on a specific point, she just stared into space. Alyssa definitely wasn't herself at this moment.
'What are you going to do?' Clayton asked as he appeared into my mind 'If you're as seething as I am...'
I cut off his words immediately as I took Alyssa by the hand and squeezed her fingers lightly 'Oh I am absolutely angrier than I have ever felt in my entire life,' I said, my jaw clenched as I spoke to my wolf internally 'Derek is going to pay, I will make sure of it,'
'Perhaps we should make haste and go,' Clayton suggested 'Before the night is over and the party ends,'
