Chapter 23–A New Start
Ella's POV: It seemed like I had just come back from another world entirely. My mouth was so dry like I hadn't eaten in days- no scratch that in months. The sharp pain from my head had me thinking if I was hit by a trailer. I open my eye and the brightness from the bulb almost got me blind. How long could I have shut my eyes? As I try to adjust my eyes to the light, I slowly try to figure out where exactly I was. White curtains, The beeping sounds from different machines, The blue hospital robe, The strong smell of disinfectant and the numerous amount of pipes connected to different parts of my body, confirmed I was in a hospital.
