MAEYAH'S POV
"Please, just please let me hug you," His voice cracked while saying those words.
I didn't noticed that my hands were slowly touching his back too, as my response to him.
It's been almost 10 minutes and we're still doing the same thing, hugging each other, and I also felt tears in my back seems like he's crying.
'Why is he crying? Tsss he's not a baby anymore to cry because of this.'
"Hey, c-can I ask something?" I suddenly asked him.
"S-sure, what's that?" He said while trying not to c***k his voice.
"Uhm, why are you crying?" I asked him again.
"What? No I'm not, " He calmly said while still hugging me.
"I know you are crying but okay I respect your privacy, so just cry all you want," I said.
"Th---"
"Baby!!" He stopped what he's about to say because the electricity came back and we also heard a woman's voice.
"Glad, you're fine!" A woman said before she hugged him.
'This was the woman earlier.'
I just decided to leave them.
"Hi! Are you new here?" Someone suddenly asked me while I'm walking.
"Uh? Hello, yes, " I responded to her while smiling.
"Ah ok, by the way let me introduce myself first to you, I'm Tanya, and you? " She said while smiling.
"Nice name! I'm Maeyah," I introduced myself to her too, I offered my right hand to her but she just ignored it.
"Ah ok, hey Stella!" She said while waving her hands.
The woman that she's waving is the same woman who called 'baby' to that man earlier. She was smiling to Tanya not until she saw me.
"You!" She shouted and pointed her fingers on my nose.
"Why? I think you just misunderstood what you saw earlier with your boyfriend , so please calm down," I explained to her but she just laughed.
"What? What is she talking about? You have a boyfriend? " Tanya asked her but he just laughed.
"What? No! And miss, he's not my boyfriend, ok? He's my cousin!" She said while laughing.
"What? But you called him 'baby' earlier, right? or did I just misheard it?" I confusingly asked her.
"Yeah, you're right I called him 'baby' earlier because that's what I call to him because he's like a baby brother to me because we're cousins , and one more thing I'm not mad because I'm his girlfriend, but I'm little bit mad because he didn't told me that he had a girlfriend already! " She explained to me.
I was about to say something but Tanya asked me.
" What?! You're his girlfriend? " She shockingly asked me.
" N-no! Yucks! " I responded to her.
"Ah thanks," Tanya said that made me confused, I guess she's his cousin too.
"Soooo, what did you guys did? Are you about to... you know? Kiss?" She asked me that made me laugh so hard.
"There's no way that I would kiss him!" I said while still laughing so hard.
"There's no way that he would kiss you too, tskk," I heard Tanya's whisper.
"We were just having a fight, that's why," I explained it to her.
"Oh okay, but why? Oh okay you don't need to explain it to me knowing him," Stella said.
"Yeah, he's so rude, but anyway are you his cousin too?" I asked Tanya, she just laughed and was about to answer me but Stella suddenly shouted
"Wait, what?! You just had a fight with him? I mean he's my cousin, and he never let anyone do that to him," She shockingly said.
"Oh? Really? But at first he didn't responded to me not until he was annoyed because of I was shouting the whole time," I calmly said.
"Oh my gosh? For real? I think you're just joking, because even though when we're still together, I never had a chance to shout at him," Tanya shockingly said too.
"Wait? So you mean you're not his cousin?" J asked her again.
"Yeah of course I'm not! I'm his ex-girlfriend," She explained it to me that made me shocked.
"Oh, but why are you still here? I mean you're his ex-girlfriend right?" I asked her again.
"Uhm, because I badly want him back ti my life," She said.
"Oh, I hope you don't get him back to your life , you would be so lucky if you don't !" I said while smiling.
"What? No! I would be so lucky if I have him back to my life," She said while giggling.
'Tsss, I think she's obsessed.'
I looked at my watch and realized that I'm freaking late in my interview, so I run to the elevator and didn't mind that I was stucked here earlier.
' Oh my gosh, I'm so embarrassed now, I hope my boss don't scold me because I even booked a appointment for this and I was late?! Argh! This is all his fault! '
The elevator stopped and the door opened, I'm now running to the ceo's office.
"Hi miss! Good morning! Is that Mr. Axie Dexord's office?" I asked one of the staffs here while pointing a office's door.
"Hello, good morning! Yes miss, that's Mr. Axie Dexord's office, are you going to apply? to be his new secretary?" She responded and asked me.
"Uhm yes, thank you and I'm sory I gotta go, I'm so late now," I said before I was about to run again but she held my hand.
"Are you sure?" She nervously asked me.
"Y-yeah, why?" I confusingly asked her too.
She sighed and said "I hope this time, someone will stay for him, goodluck!".
"Yeah, thankyou!" I responded to her and ran again.
"Oh my gosh, I hope you will be picked!" She shouted and waved at me, I also waved back to her and smiled.
'Oh my gosh, I'm finally here!'
I'm finally at the office's door. I knocked 3 times and I finally heard a familiar voice that said "Come in,"
So I opened the door.
And it unexpectedly showed someone that I don't want to see.
