Blaze's point of view: Sitting in the carriage with my younger brothers I feel a bit cramped even though there is plenty of space. My mom and dad are in the carriage leading the way for us all to the fay kingdom. I look over to my younger brothers as I wonder why mom insisted on us having to wear old-fashioned traditional clothing. We normally only put this on for a ceremony of coming of age, or a marriage of strong members. I shake my head dreading the way my brothers and I stand out. My brother Forest gives me a face, when he saw how I was looking over him with furrowed eyebrows. Then he had the audacity to say, " Stop undressing me with your eyes man! You’re my brother for goddess’s sake!" I reach over to smack him for being stupid, but he blocks me and cracks up. I tell him, "I am just thinking about how we look like fools. With your flabby body, you are showing off! You over-grown walrus", then I chuckle. Trent, my youngest brother, chimes in with, "Don’t believe it Forest. You know he’s just mad that he’s shorter than us both. Still, why the hell is mom making us dress like this? Dad has on his meeting clothes, and mom is in a silk white dress, but we look like we are going to kill someone. What’s their deal? And am I the only one that feels we are up for sale? Do both of you have feelings of stress like I am or something?" Thinking over his words I must admit I feel the same. But I also feel like this event will change me somehow. So, I decided to tell them. "Yeah, I feel like this event is going to change a lot of things, and that we are being put on display for some reason. Maybe not for sale, but to show off that the throne is strong. Did you both do your research like mom and dad said? They wanted us to know as much as we could about this type of things, and creatures we will encounter in the fay kingdom." Forest speaks up first. "Yeah, I know that the King is Elvin and the queen is fay. What I don’t get is how someone as big as us can be with something that is no bigger than 4 inches... Like how can that, make babies? They have 4 kids, 3 girls and one boy. Apparently, the Prince of Bear's kingdom said that the girls are hot, and he was told by his mom to get the eldest to be his bride, because his mom always wanted to do magic with sparks or some crap like that." We all began bursting out with laughter, from the ridiculousness of the ideas we just heard. Shaking my head, I say, "first-off, if you can’t imagine an elf with a tiny fairy, how the hell can a bear be with one?" I chuckled to myself then say, " I found out their kingdom is like ours in some way. They have maids, not omegas. They have ranked members, but they don’t carry similar titles. Only the king/queen, and heirs, are the same as ours. The kingdom they run is vast, and because the king is Elvin, and the queen is Fay, the typical factions have merged, and now all magic answers to them. They do not have elders; they are the elders. They can live forever pretty much. The magic they have can be used for good and bad. They are so strong that witches are now part of their kingdom. Crazy, right? I think this is why my stomach is in knots. We are strong, but what can we do against magic? That is like getting into a fist fight with a cold. You can’t punch, kick or bite a cold." Shock and fear at my last words washed over my brother’s face’s. At that moment, my mom mind links us. "Boys, we are here. Please be sure to smile, and, above all, be nice to everyone. We do not know each other’s customs. So, what they may or may not do, can be seen as rude. They might not know that. So please, remember we came here because they asked to know us. We want peace above all. Our kingdoms and I are depending on you three, to represent us all, since you are our future." Then she cut the link. Looking out the windows, our eyes go wide. Thinking to myself, what in the world is this? I hear my brother forest say, "That is some pack-house! And lets out a low whistle. What is that thing made from? " As I look at the structure I say, "It looks like some type of glass, gold, and silver all over it. Do they live in jewelry? What in the world am I looking at?" I hear mom link back to us. "Look boys, the castle is beautiful. It’s made of polished titanium and adorned with magic gems. Look at all the Gold around the windows and doors. It is stunning. They say the castle is not only the safest place but it’s also a way to show how successful they are. But I just love looking at it. ok boys get out." I looked away from the castle and notice my mom and dad standing ready to get let in. Forest and Trent follow my lead, and we stand in line, behind our parents. Looking over my shoulder for a moment. I see each carriage in a line pulling up and unloading. The king, queen and her cubs from the bear kingdom fall in line behind us. Making eye contact with Queen Bella of the bears, I offered her a smile, then turning as I straightening up. In the corner of my eye, I see what looks like a golden cloud or off in the distance begin to move at a fast pace towards everyone. My eyes go larger as I watch it get closer and spread thin like a river of twinkling gold floating down and thinning out. I gasped and reached to grab mom and cover her with my body. I opened my mouth to yell out to everyone to look out. My father let out a deep rumbling laughter, watching all the young members of each party, including myself, begin to panic. I look at my father with confusion. He, with a thooming alpha king's voice, instructs everyone to stay calm and just watch the golden shimmer. That we are safe. Instantly, everyone did as instructed, and we all watched the shimmering golden river thin more and more, the closer it came. Then it happened, a teenie-tiny, sparkling, little speck of gold that twinkled, floated to hover right in front of me face level. As I looked around to see if others could see what I saw. I noticed everyone got a speck of their own. I give that sparkle my attention. My brother Forest took that moment to try and catch his. Giggling like a fool, because the moment he tried to grab it, it bumped into his nose, and it began to sparkle as it gave him instructions on what to expect in today’s activities. If I was not a Lycan, I would not have heard it at all. It was so soft. Then I realized the specks that came to me is not activated. Reaching up I touched it with my index finger, and it floated to my right ear and was talking to me directly. I was amazed. With golden specks as guides, no one would get lost and I can tell it would make this visit less stressful. The golden speck told me that shortly my parents would be announce to everyone after the sound of trumpets and that the loud sound of trumpets wouldn’t hurt our ears, because the magic of calm was placed for protecting the sensitive ears of shifter's per speck. This brings a large smile to my face. How thoughtful of the Royal family to make the effort to make us even this much at ease and comfortable. I hear a soft sound that still sounded like several trumpets, then I hear a voice announcing my parents the speck then told me to move up and stand next to be announced. Doing as instructed I felt nervous, I was to be introduced and enter alone. Thinking to myself, well I am the heir to the throne, so it makes sense. The large double doors, that is intricately designed, opened. I had to fight my mouth from falling to the floor from the fairy-tale I was looking at. So many beautiful people and colors all shiny with shimmer. Blinking my eyes as I walk, my back straight chin up I stand behind my mom and dad as I was instructed. Looking around as I hear my father talking to the king, my eyes land on a real-life fairy. She was so cute and small. My brother’s words pop into my head and I smile trying hard not to laugh out loud. Doing this must have made that fairy think I was flirting because that adorable little thing winked and blew me a kiss. Trying not to be rude and start laughing or covering my face, I take a shaky breath, keeping my smile on I look the other direction. My brother Trent links me at that moment. cracking up hard in my head, saying to me "Bro, 5 inches and I see you already planning to challenge the bear for that, tiny baby-maker already! Don't get me wrong, she’s cute with her red curly hair and her silver eyes. but I can’t lie to you man the kids in our pack will want to play with her as if she is the doll. I really do not think anyone will want that speck to be Luna." Rolling my eyes, I cut the link. What an ass hole! note to self, kick his ass hard at training. Keeping my eyes on my father’s back to not get myself in more trouble, I see my mom turn to me and grab my shoulder hard. Like the queen Luna she is, she man-handled me to stand just in front of her without looking like she was about to break my shoulder. Damn, my mom is strong. I think I will have her perfect hand-print on that shoulder soon. Straightening up, bringing my eyes forward, my breath hitches in my throat, and time stopped. The most beautiful woman I have ever seen was standing in front of me. Her long straight hair was so blond it looked white. I have never seen eyes as blue as her eyes. They looked as bright and light as they looked like someone took the summer sky and made them her eyes. A small button nose sat above her pink and plump lips that parted slightly with my gaze on them. I let my eyes fall to look at the rest of her and my goddess. She was perfect. This woman was in a sky-blue dress that sparkled slightly as it hugged her hourglass figure. I was snapped out of my admiring this beauty the moment I saw someone grabbing the back of her upper arm tightly pulling her away. I panicked. Letting out a growl, I went to follow her. I felt my air being cut off as I realized my dad put me in a choke hold, his arms locked around my neck. Sounds of panic muffling in my ears, as I tap my father’s leg in a sign of submission. The entire time being dragged away from everyone towards a large door. He tossed me in that room and onto the ground in a heap. My father rolling up his sleeves to give me a beating. My brothers piled in to watch. Rage invades me.
