Wrong Choices Made

Autumn's point of view: I don't know how much time has passed as I continue to push my healing powers into my prince. I kissed him from his face to his neck. Trying my best to fill my prince with as much healing power as I possess, wanting the marks to vanish and him to wake up safely. As I started to feel drained and my body went limp, I let myself fall to sleep, still holding him tight to me, breathing in his scent, my nose and lips pressed to his neck as my eyes fluttered closed. Sleep takes over me completely.

Queen Beth's point of view; I looked over to the bed as I calmed down. A large smile takes my face as I see the princess embracing and kissing my son. She is glowing a beautiful white glow, and I watch as the glow begins to cover my son. I take a deep breath and think to myself, they must be mates. There is no other explanation. My eyes went wide as I saw Queen Raiven, walked over to the bed and attempt to remove her daughter from my son. All the while, the princess begins to scream to leave her alone. That she needs to heal my son. I then walked over to the queen and placed my hand on her shoulder. "Would it be ok with you if we talked and just let your daughter have this moment to heal my son?" Queen Raiven, let Autumn go. as she looked at, me with a smile and said, "I see no harm in that if you're fine with this I will be too." placing my arm around Queen Raiven's waist, I began to walk with her to the door, everyone following us. Once we are in the hall, King Leo said," Let's head to my office so we can all sit down and talk calmly. I feel we have something to discuss that might affect more than just our two families. Coming up to a beautiful red and gold door, that must be his office, I think. The door opened to a large room. Floor to ceiling windows with lots of plants and books on the few walls that had no windows. To the right was a very dark wooden desk with a soft chair behind it. 4 chairs in front of the desk. On the left was a nice seating area that was directly in front of one of the large window walls. King Leo guided us to sit in the soft leather couches and velvet chairs. Once we were all seated the king asked us all to give him a moment. He held up a finger and 4 little golden balls left him and floated through the walls. Then he smiled and said, " I ordered some refreshments and some snacks so we can talk. My husband spoke up first. "I want to apologize to everyone here, including my wife. I have been so worried about not making any mistakes that I seem to have already made many. I only wanted to enjoy our time here and make new allies. So, I hope you can all forgive me." warmth came over me from my husband’s words. King Leo smiled and shook my husband’s hand as he offered him a "do not worry, I believe we also have made mistakes in the short time of us trying to do the same as you. I hold no fowl feeling against anyone here." I smile and look at the queen. "My dear Queen Raiven, and King Leo, thank you for having us all and being so understanding. With my words, king and queen Rivers look at one another. King Leo said, "The thing is Autumn is engaged to be wed on her 120th birthday. She is still only 23 years old. She has been engaged since she was 5 years old. If she refuses to marry the current prince she is engaged to, I will have to call a meeting with the King and Queen of Spain. They are overseeing the magical people in Spain like we do here in America. We place all the reasons on the table on why they can’t be married and come to a verdict. Sometimes it’s at a cost. The one that wants out ends up with a large fine or sometimes can end with a duel, depending on the depth and reasons for the breaking of the union." thinking over his words, I hear my son Forest say, "Mom, please take back your punishment, I didn't mean to scare anyone. I was scared that dad had killed Blaze. Please..." crawling on his knee's. Looking up at me from my knees, trying hard to make himself small. With tears running down his face. Thinking to myself, my big son is so humble I can't stay mad at him. Chuckling, I wiped his eyes and smiled. "Get up son, you are fine. I will cancel your sentence. Groveling at my feet in front of everyone here is punishment enough for a 21-year-old." As I motioned with my hands to the two pretty girls giggling at him. My son followed where I motioned with his eyes. He got up as fast as could be. Wiping his face with his hands. His face is red as a tomato. Everyone busted out laughing at that moment. Taking this chance to tell the king and queen, "I would hate to do this to you, but I think it would be best if we could set up that meeting. I am sure you all saw how impulsive both Blaze and Autumn have been. I think the mate bond is strong and fear it only gets worse as time passes. If it is a fine, we can help fill the fine. If it is a duel, I am afraid I do not know the rules." Queen Raiven said, "I feel the same as you. As for the duel, it only happens if both parties have been pure and waiting for one another to wed. Smiling as large as my face can from the sight of the cute and beautiful looking fairies. Some with dresses that look like silk and others with dresses that look like plants. Squealing and fill with giddy happiness I say, "Oh my goodness you fairies are too beautiful. Will it be ok if one of you sit on my hand or shoulder please?" The fairy's stopped and faced me, then look at one another then they all face the queen. Queen Raiven nods, as she said, "Normally they would not be happy with this reaction from people, but these few here love the attention. just know that they do and will bite regardless of rank. If you are bitten, that fairy has pledged her loyalty to you. If this happens to you it will be your responsibility to love and care for her or him forever. By asking them to touch you in any way, you are telling them, that you are ready for this commitment if they see fit to choose you. Do you agree Queen Beth?" Thinking over her words I smile largely and agree. With that, all in a blink of an eye there were 12 fairies fluttering around me. Some around my head and face, reaching out to touch me as they fly by me. I had a cute red-head with a green dress that was almost a foot tall, sit on my knee and looked up to me. her silver eyes glittering. I put my hand over to her index finger extended to shake her hand in greeting. She then put both her hands around my finger and looked up at me. "Ouch, Ouch , ouch." Not only did the fairy on my lap bite my finger, I got bit on my right ear and two bit my shoulders. It didn't hurt too much, it was like getting stung by a bee. Fast then numb. Smiling up at everyone. "I think I have been chosen by several. King Leo said, “Thank you ladies for bringing the refreshments you are excused and for those that chose Queen Beth please go say your goodbyes and collect your things." I hear a hiss, and look over my shoulder. A very large fairy had bitten Trent on the ear. The fairy with pink hair and clear wings, was a little over a foot tall, and she was currently attached to the side of his face. Her cheek pressed hard to his face, her arms spread wide. One was gripping his ear, the other gripping the bridge of his nose. Trying my best to stifle a laugh, due to my son looking upset and not wanting to hurt the large fairy that just bit him. He is pleadingly looking for help from anyone to get her off the side of his face. Queen Raiven said ," Princesses, stop giggling, get up and go help the young prince's. Sit at your father's desk and teach the prince's how to conduct themselves with fairies. Trent's eyes go wide with panic as the girls take him by the hand and lead him to sit on the other side of the room. Forest links me at that moment. "Mom if Trent gets that fairy pregnant will she still be allowed to live in the pack house?" I turn and send him the most scary look I can muster. linking back i say "do you want your punishment reinstated? If that where to ever happen Everyone will be accepting of them and the baby do you hear me." turning my attention to the queen, I ask everyone, "can a fairy mate with a person the size of my son?" The queen's eyes go wide. Clearing her throat she said, "Yes, it can and has happened. Faeries have the ability to take on a larger size if they choose ,and if requested. But they can only stay in that form for a maximum of 5 years, then they must return to the natural size. My eyes went wide. "Do you have books on fairy's I think we need to be better educated I asked them all."
