MEET AND GREET, AT THE BALL

My mom's point of view: Thinking to myself, I really do not like being so short. At five foot and four inches, I am still too short and can't see over my father's shoulders. As I stand here waiting to be introduced, I hear a very deep and husky voice, that sends a shiver down my spine. That voice introduced his wife and himself, to my father and mother, as the king and queen, of Lycan shifters. Then they explained to my parents that they brought the other shifter factions along, to be properly introduced. Then I heard my father say "I am happy you came, and took the proper steps in my steed, due to my shortcomings. We are excited to get to know you all. We hope this is the first step to eliminate any negativity or misconceptions on both sides of our people, and bring us all closer. Since we invited you and your family directly, I would like to introduce you and your family, to my wife, and High Queen of the Fay, and magical kingdom, Queen Raiven, Willow, Rivers." Then my father turns as he said," this is my eldest daughter and heir to the fay kingdom, Princess Autumn, Rain, Rivers." As my father steps aside, I lift my eyes from my hands, I had been fiddling with in front of my tummy, as I was anxiously waiting to see the owner of that deep voice. My eyes meet with the King of shifters first. His large almond shaped eyes, with long black lashes, incasing honey-colored irises. His nose was strait and strong, but not too large. He had high cheek bones and no face hair other than his semi-thick black eyebrows. His hair was thick and black as night, with waves that looked like they begged for your finger’s attention. But the most shocking thing to me was his lips. He has such full lips. That sat perfectly on his face. His lips looked so kissable; I licked my own. His eyebrows shot up, and his beautiful lips curved to a large smile. At that moment, my heart skipped a beat. I felt my ears and cheeks get hot. I am sure they are beet red now. His lips moved and he said in that husky voice of his, "Princess Autumn, are you ok?" Everything felt like it was in slow motion for some reason. I looked away to breathe for a second. Then I hear my sisters giggle, and I knew I looked like a fool. I took a deep breath composing myself. I smiled with as much confidence that I could muster. Turning my face to making eye contact once more with the king, then politely curtsy. Reluctantly, I peel my eyes from the beautiful king and look at his wife. She was Shockingly adorable. His queen had long thick brown hair, that she put in intricate braids, all piled up on top her head. Colorful flowers scattered about throughout her braids causing her hair style to look more youthful, ultimately making the queen look pure. She has a heart shaped face, with large green eyes, and very long brown lashes, that almost reached her thin eyebrows, with semi high arches. She has a small round nose that gave her face that innocent look. Her heart shaped lips, smiled at me. When her eyes met mine once more. Then she gave me a wink. That made my face heat up once more. She leans close to me, then whispered to me, "if you think we are good looking I can’t wait to see how you feel about my boys." Then she steps back and winks again, as she turns to grab her oldest son by his shoulder. Guiding him forwards to show him to me. As I take him in, I hear his mother say, “this is my son the prince and heir of Lycan’s throne, Blaze, Serna. At that moment I felt my sisters on each side of me Placing a hand on each of my arms then sending me some of their strength through our fay magic. The warmth spread from my sister’s hands into my body, and I felt that I could breathe much more calmly. I must have stopped breathing or something for them to do this for me. But I am grateful because the demigod that my eyes had landed on stunned me. The Prince of Lycan's was flawless. my eyes took in every delectable inch of him. His thick chestnut colored hair, that was semi long. He had his father’s needy curls. His perfect strait eyebrows, dark as his hair placed just right. Blaze’s eyes had heterochromia iridum. One eye was amber, and the other was gray. Thick, long lashes made his eyes pop. His nose was strait with a slightly rounded tip. His lips are calling me. Bow-shaped lips that were not too full, and deep pink. They looked so soft. His inverted triangle shaped face made his jaw line look sharp. All I wanted to do was run my tongue along those edges, and down to his long thick neck. I let my eyes run that sexy neck and Adams-apple. He had on a necklace of shells, held up by wide shoulders. His muscular chest and eight pack that was exposed to my eyes, due to his unique attire. It looks like some type of vest. But thank you Lords for this view, his warm beige color skin, looked sun kissed. It causes me to be jealous of the sun for the first time in my life. That darn sun was allowed to kiss this gorgeous man’s body, before me... This man had to be a descendant of a god or something he was perfect. That vest exposed his rippling muscles and a flat belly button. Just by looking, I can tell his body was built for fighting, his waist was narrow. He had what looked like an animal-hide as a type of pants that struggled to stay up on him. My mouth went dry as my eyes feasted on his deep V, adorning his lower belly. Oh my! I let my eyes drop more, following that wonderful deep V-line. I was abruptly stopped because I hear a loud sound of my father clearing his throat. Instantly my face and ears go red, and I feel even more embarrassed. Then I hear my sister giggling and whispering naughty things in my ears as my mom speaks up. "Well, let’s head over to the table and get some food. I am sure you are all as hungry as I am. Please start without me I need to freshen up a moment." Curtsying to the other royals as my mother grabs me by the back of my arm and sweeps me and my sisters off to the lady’s room. My sisters are still giggling. Once we get to our private ladies’ room my mom politely excuses the maids that had been working here for the assistance of any royales in need. My mother waited for the maids to shut the door, and she turned to me with a look on her face that told me I am in deep crap. My mother then opens then closes her mouth a few times trying to collect the words to speak to me and I shift worriedly waiting for my mom to speak. My horrible little sisters start to giggle and tell my mom she looks like a fish out of water. This comment made my mom bring a scowl to her beautiful face. Her eyes shift from my sisters to me, my sisters straighten up and close their mouths. Looking directly in my eyes, my mom finally said,"Autumn, Rain, Rivers, what in the world has gotten into you? First you ogle the king in front of his wife and your own parents. Then you assault his son right after with your eyes! " Stuttering my mom said, " then you start panting as you undress the pore boy with you naughty eyes! Your father had to intervene when you let out a “Oh my!” with a moan for god’s sake! what is going on with you? I am not only embarrassed, but I am appalled!" My mother reaches for the back of the velvet cream colored chair for support as my mother breathes slowly and tried to taper down her anger. Then she held one hand out towards me palm up and said, " well do not just stand there looking lost. What do you have to say for yourself? Speak!" Taking in a deep breath as I think over her words about how I was acting. My face a flame with embarrassment I tell my mother, " I am very sorry, I do not know why I reacted that way. I really did not even realize I was doing that." My mother’s mouth fell open, shock and disbelief shown on her face. My sister’s bust out laughing, as my sister’s say, "do you need fresh undies sis? You look like you had better go take a bath, how naughty..." That was it, my mother lost it and reached over and smacked both my sisters as she yell-whispers through gritted teeth, " you naughty little things! what do you know about what you speak! Shut those filthy mouths on your own or I will cast a punishment spell that will hold your lips for a week and only be released to eat or drink. Do you hear me? You both are no better than your sister, sit still I will deal with you girls next." Turning her attention to me once more my mother said, " You are telling me that you had no idea you had been rude and acted inappropriately, and you truly want me to believe this? Let’s say I believe you since this is not normal behavior from you. What do you plan on doing to fix this? It was your idea to invite the shifters here so how do you propose to fix the rude actions you have already done?" I panic, I really have no idea how I can fix this... I feel so embarrassed, and panic invades me. I want to faint. I feel arms around me and for a moment I wanted to pass out. Once I have my bearings, I notice I’m sitting on one of the velvet chairs that we have in the waitingest area of the lady’s room. My sister brought me a cup of water. I was about to speak when the door opened, and the queen of shifters walked in a large smile on her face. She said to us, "do you mind if I come in, I have something to say to you all." My mother smiled and said for her to feel free to join us and we would love to hear what she wanted to tell us. The shifter queen walked over to stand adjacent to me and looks down at me sitting the chair smiling and placing a hand on my shoulder. She said, " my dear princess Autumn, how are you feeling?" Looking in her eyes, I feel tears start to fill my eyes due to my embarrassment. The Queen of shifters, Queen Beth reached for my cheek and said, “Oh baby girl do not cry. You did nothing wrong my dear." She then kissed my for head as she embraced me lulling me to calm down. Once she felt me calming down, she pulls back and said, " sweety let me tell you your reaction to my son was calm in comparison to people of our shifter kingdom. Plus, I am flattered you find my family attractive my dear." With a chuckle queen Beth said, " as a matter of fact my husband has taken my sons and your father to have a private meeting in the men’s room." Looking up to my mother with a big smile.
