The Devil Unleashed

416 Words
The room erupts into chaos. Shadows move through the broken window, figures masked by the night, their intentions clear in the sharp glint of steel. My heart pounds so violently I can hear it echo in my ears. He pushes me behind him with a force that brooks no argument. “Stay down,” he orders, voice cold, commanding, inhumanly calm. I crouch, trembling, but my eyes stay locked on him. The man who has consumed me with his touch, his words, his obsession… now burns with something else entirely—pure, unrelenting fury. The first intruder lunges, but he’s faster. His movements are fluid, brutal, efficient. One moment the threat is charging, the next he’s sprawled on the floor, unconscious. Another figure follows, and again, he moves like a predator, every strike precise, every action dripping with violence and power. It’s terrifying. It’s mesmerizing. I should be afraid of him. And maybe I am. But beneath the fear is a heat that coils tighter and tighter, watching him unleash this side of himself. The devil doesn’t just claim—he destroys anything that dares to touch what’s his. “Did you really think,” he growls at the last man standing, “you could steal from me?” The intruder falters, backing toward the shattered glass. For a moment, I almost pity him. Almost. Because the man standing in front of me isn’t just dangerous—he’s inevitable. The fight ends as quickly as it began. Bodies groan on the floor, some too still to rise, and he’s left standing, chest heaving, eyes dark and wild. He turns to me, and the storm inside him hasn’t settled. “You see now,” he says, voice hoarse but sharp, “what I’ll do to protect what’s mine.” I can’t move, can’t breathe. My body is trembling from adrenaline, from fear, from desire that burns hotter than ever. He stalks toward me, predator closing in, and I don’t retreat. I can’t. His hands grip my face, rough and unyielding, his eyes locking mine in place. “Say it again,” he commands, voice low and deadly. My lips part, my voice breaking. “I’m yours.” His mouth crashes against mine, desperate, consuming, as if he needs the words branded into him. And as his heat engulfs me, I know the truth in my bones: I’m bound to him now, by fear, by fire, by obsession. And there’s no escaping the devil once he’s claimed you.
