DIMITRIO FALCON

MEL He pulls out the chair opposite me. “Do you mind?” He asks. His eyes remain fixed on me as he takes his seat. He draws the chair closer and leans forward. My heartbeat quickens. I try to hide that I was in awe at how someone could look this good. I maintain eye contact. “I couldn’t help but notice you staring.” I look away, unable to hold his eyes. He saw me. The bar suddenly became two times hotter and I feel a pool of sweat form between my legs. “I think you’ve misunderstood,” I say quietly. I could only hope he would believe me. “I was just curious why anyone would wear sunglasses in a bar at night.” A light chuckle escaped his lips. “Curious cat” Oh my God. He takes off the shades and his beautiful dark eyes stare at me. It’s like a black hole, alluring and captivating like it would consume you whole. “You scared?” He reaches for one of my drink glasses on my table. “Hmm. macallan. Good choice.” I manage to force a smile. I suddenly felt small before this man. I could not stand this and I felt so out of place. What am I even doing here? I pull out my purse and drop some cash on the table. Just as I get up to leave. A strong hand catches mine. “You haven’t finished your drink yet, I’ll be darned if I let a lady pay at a table.” I smile again. “It’s nothing really. I don’t feel like drinking anymore” His hands slowly pull mine till I sit back at the table. “You are going to have to finish your drink.” His tone exposes a finality in them. My eyes lock in with his. “You came here to get wasted didn’t you? Well, so did I.” I ease up a little, picking up a glass and we gulp down our drinks. He signals the bartender to bring another round of drinks. “So what’s your name, pretty peach?” I chuckle, pretty peach? Me? I try to remember the last time I was ever called anything sweet. “It’s Mel” “Mel? Short for…” “Melody” I feel a sensation in my body and my legs grow weak. I still didn’t want to stop the alcohol. “My name is Dimitrio” He collects the drinks from the bartender. “Here” He hands me another glass and I take it all in at once. I notice his eyes wander from my face to my chest, they linger on my cleavage. I do not feel repulsed. Does he like what he sees? “So why is a pretty lady alone at a bar trying to get drunk?” I raise my right brow and put down the glass. “Trying to deal with some issues” “Issues?” I sigh, it wasn’t like I know him or he knows me either so it will not hurt to share. “I got cheated on.” He pauses, his eyes retract becoming even more hollow. “Your boyfriend?” He drowns another glass in his mouth and stares at me. “No, my husband.” Dimitrio lets out a cough. “Sorry, you’re married?” “Yes, I caught him f*****g my sister.” I clear my throat. It was stinging, I reach for a glass of water on the table beside me. “Do you want to get f****d?” The way he asks makes my cheek burn. Did he just ask me that? Did he think I was some kind of cheap slut? I would never compromise the bond of marriage. What I had said to Jonah were just bluffs and he knew it too. “I asked you a question Mel.” There it was again. That tone. I look into his eyes again. There was something about it. So cold, demanding. If I say yes, there is no turning back.
Jonah’s words echo “No one would want you.” “Mel” “Yes” The words spill out of my mouth before I can take them back. For so long I have been caged. Starved. Used. I have been treated like a worthless trophy. It wasn’t bad, I wanted to feel good. To feel something other than useless. “Okay” I catch a smirk form on his lips. I feel my heart about to leap from my chest. What the f**k was that response? What did he mean by okay? He pulls out cash from his wallet and places it on the table. “Get your cash. Let’s leave.” My brows raise. I don’t pick the money. Dimitrio walks over to my chair and pulls it out. My breath caught, he carried me in his arms. I clutch my purse and my hands cling tightly around his neck. “People are watching” I hide my face in his chest. “Let them.” I have never felt this before, not with my husband or anyone. I could hear the slow rhythm of his heartbeat. He places me gently in the passenger seat. I hear the car hum and come to life. In about fifteen minutes, the car pulled to a stop. His hotel wasn’t far from the bar. Did that mean he was frequent there? Did he do this regularly? Looking for vulnerable women to bring to his hotel room. He carried me into the hotel, I did not see anyone present. It’s unusually quiet. “Are you okay?” He looks down at me with those gorgeous eyes. I nod slowly. He walks into the room and places me on the bed. My eyes linger on him as he shuts the door. He pours himself a glass of water. “You are staring again” My gaze falls. “I guess I can’t help it.” “You get flustered easily. But how sensitive is your body Mel?” He drops the glass. Dimitrio pulls his shirt off, his fingers unclasping the buttons. I have never seen a body so hot and sexy like his before. Not even with Jonah. Was I really okay with this? I can’t back down now. “I can’t wait to find out what you feel like Mel.” “Sound like,” he adds, walking towards me on the bed. I can’t lie to myself. I wanted this man. Dimitrio climbs on the bed. Moving his body till he was positioned over mine. I watch his chest move steadily, rising and falling. I stretch out my hand to feel them. He grabs my hand roughly, then my other hand. Placing them above my head. Then he leans into my ear and whispers, “What do you want, Mel?” “I want you to f**k me.” I hear the tear of a fabric. My dress. I am now naked on his bed. A whimper escapes my lips.
