2 years later.

The last two years of my life had been perfect. We had gotten Mav into training, Mom and Randall had finally retired and were living on the coast with Eli. I’m still not sure what those two were to each other, but Randall never seemed jealous of him.

Traveling back and forth between the packs had been a strain on my relationship with Hayden. Especially lately. She had been distant. Hunter tried to talk to her, but she only said she was fine. He could feel that something was different about her, but with his twin Luna’s being pregnant at the same time was a lot. His wolf was barely able to leave their side. Mav had left to spend a few weeks with Hayden’s parents on a train tour across Europe. I had pushed all the non-important meetings for two weeks.
