Chapter 30- Danielle Marsh

1156 Words

“I don't know Sofia, I haven't seen her for a long time.” Mia said, I went to my room and left Mia in the sitting room. But the name stayed in my head long after I left. Danielle Marsh. I kept repeating it silently as I walked back to my room, afraid that if I stopped thinking about it, I would somehow lose the only lead I had. I had spent the past few days looking for answers and getting nowhere. Every person I questioned either knew too little or knew too much and refused to speak. Konstantin had practically admitted that he knew what happened to Isabelle, yet he had looked me in the eyes and changed the subject. Mia was no different, she had finally given me a name, but the hesitation in her voice and the way she avoided my eyes told me there was more to Danielle than she had said.
