Sacrifices and Rewards
Adam begins to stir as he feels a cold hand against his forehead and senses that Kylie is lying beside him in a bed. After a few seconds he opens his eyes, and though groggy and disoriented, he can tell he is in an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar room. He assumes that it is a room at the mansion where Tian brought them. He takes a moment to check her over and relaxes some when he realizes she is sleeping peacefully and seems in good health. The last thing he remembers is fighting to keep in control when Dorian took Kylie away and he could no longer feel his connection to her, then Tian somehow moved across the room lightning fast and used his power to knock him out.
