In the morning, Adam and Kylie visit Dr. Kosh at the clinic to find out whether they should be planning to convert the small bedroom at the cabin into a nursery. Though just the week before the prospect of a pregnancy was daunting and intimidating, now Kylie is in much better shape to be able to handle the physical strain and that realization seems to have hit them both at about the same time. The fear has turned to excitement and hope that they will be able to start a family together sooner rather than later.
The build up to the moment of truth seems underwhelming after everything else they’ve experienced in the past couple days. Kylie pees in a cup, changes into a hospital gown, and then she and Adam sit in the exam room and wait. He holds her hand and tells her everything he remembers
