A young mom with a little kid, who was giggling, hauled a package of butt wipes out of her diaper bag and passed it around. “Help yourselves,” she said as she attended to her toddler. “The fewer people who get sick, the less chance there is that I’ll catch anything.” There are heroes in our midst. As we all wiped our faces and rinsed out our mouths, Steve started to sing. “And one, and two, and three! To the tune of Jingle Bells now!” I don’t know how he learned so many words that rhyme with poo, although some that rhymed with s**t or crap were in there too. Perhaps I shouldn’t repeat it here and just leave it to your imagination. If people didn’t know the words, they went silent at that point, and Steve’s voice would ring out with it.
