=AUTHOR'S NOTE=

262 Words
I am writing this note because my mind refuses to be still. For almost a year, I have wrestled with silence—the kind that creeps in quietly and settles between unfinished paragraphs. Stories waited patiently in scattered drafts, their endings blurred, their voices fading before I could follow them through. They called it writer’s block, but perhaps it was simply the absence of the right spark. And then, unexpectedly, inspiration arrived. It came in the form of a K-pop superstar—someone I encountered first through a screen - through countless performances and interviews I lost track of. The more I watched, the more I observed. The more I observed, the more I understood. And somewhere in that quiet process of understanding, admiration began to take root. This is not fan fiction. Nor is it a retelling of a real-life story. What moved me was not proximity, but presence—his striking physicality, yes, his undeniable charisma on stage, and the quiet magnetism he carries off it. But even more than that, it was his narrative. His resilience. His thoughts—measured, reflective, far beyond his years. There is something compelling about this person who holds both brilliance and depth in the same breath. I will not mention his name. I prefer to let recognition feel like a secret between those who know. Three words would be enough. The male lead of this story carries fragments of that inspiration—never a replica, only an echo. And as for the female lead… I leave her to your imagination. 😜 - Melpomene
