Heather waited on the front line with her soldiers, hidden behind the wall of ticking and smoking iron that was the battalion of tanks Valerian had brought from Sabbistahn. Even with the machines on her side, Heather was intimidated by them. They were huge, weighed more than most houses, and they were unstoppable. During the battle of Thunder Vale, she had watched a cannonball bounce off the side of one of the panzers, and the machine forged onwards without anything more than a shudder.
