I had fallen asleep, feeling optimistic for the future after having received a promise from Jax for us to move into his lodge after we had rested for a while.
I would have insisted on moving immediately as much as I hated being inside this house, but I found myself exhausted and slightly weak still, most likely caused by the remnants of wolfsbane in my system.
