Since Rosie left his office with those sad and hurt eyes, he couldn't focus on his work. He felt so guilty for saying those words to Rosie. Well, in his defense. He didn't know that Liam brought Hayley because Rosie didn't even tell him that Hayley would be with them.
But whatever he may find a reason, it won't justify his accusations at Rosie. The woman was obviously hurt and he knows that he was such an asshole earlier just because he couldn't admit to himself that he's starting to feel jealous of Liam.
