Roscoe biting my neck to plant his venom that would leave a distinct scent all over me and would serve as a sign and indication that I've been marked and belong to no one, but him altered something in my body.
By doing so, it was as if he taught my body to yearn and crave for him.
Two days went by after Roscoe mercilessly ended my father in front of me, instead of mourning, all I could ever think of was the feeling that sipped through my spine and spread across my body as his lips touched my skin that baneful night.
My body is desperate to quench this thirst that he installed in my body even when every fiber of my head was against it.
Hearing a series of footsteps launch into my prison cell, I crawled towards the iron bars that were locking me up. The delta who had my food in a white plastic bowl stopped right in front of me. A taunting smirk curved his lips.
"Are you hungry?" He asked, "Are you starved, little princess?" He asked once more.
I nodded and desperately clung to the iron bar.
"P-Please," I said weakly.
When he opened the gate to get inside the cell, I crawled away from it and waited for him to hand me the bowl of food like a tamed puppy.
"Beg for it," he said.
My stomach growled in hunger. I looked at him with my lips slightly parted from each other, "Please, I am hungry. I-I can't take it anymore. Give me my food," I said and rose to take it from his hand, but he pulled it away from me and ended up spilling it on him.
"f*****g b***h!" He cursed loudly and quickly sipped the back of his palm to ease the pain as the soup burnt his skin.
"I am sorry!" I said panickly, "I didn't mean to. It wasn't my intention," I murmured scaredly.
The ruthless delta stepped towards me like an enraged hurricane. He poured the rest of the hot soup on top of my head. Burning me with the soup just wasn't enough, the delta kicked me in my gut and was about to do it again when an arm held and stopped him.
I saw something drop from the delta's body as he quickly bent his knees and bowed to another unfamiliar man who all of a sudden appeared in my cell.
"Did you burn her?"
"B-Beta." The delta stuttered in fear.
"Look at me, boy." The beta commanded, leaving the delta with no choice but to do so.
"Do you know who that woman is?"
"I do, Beta Russo. She's Alpha Gray's daughter. She is the traitor's daughter."
The arrogant delta who is now cowardly cowering at the authority of the beta of the pack looked puzzled as Beta Russo shook his head.
"That wolfless shifter is Alpha Roscoe's fated mate and breeder." The delta locked eyes with me as the information settled on his head. Horrified, he moved his head to stare back at Beta Russo.
"B-But if s-she was that important to Alpha Roscoe, why is she locked here?"
"Because she's a traitor's daughter, but that doesn't mean any of you can touch or hurt her. She's the Alpha's woman and you hurt her. Do you think Alpha Roscoe would let you live once he finds out that you burn his mate... with a hot soup?" The delta opened his mouth to answer the beta but only a traumatizing sound came out of it as the beta slits the delta's throat with his sharpened claw that suddenly came out of his finger.
I looked away and covered my eyes even when it was too late since I'd already seen how it happened.
"I'll be sending someone to tend to your burns and send you another set of meals," Beta Russo spoke in a hoarse voice.
Beta Russo left my cell without locking it.
Attempting to escape them would surely put my life on the line, but I needed to take this risk, hoping that I might survive and be free from all of this.
The brightness of the sun blinded me as soon as I was out of the cave-like dungeon of the howling royal pack, my eyes squinted as I didn't have the time to let my eyes adjust to the sudden brightness of my surroundings. I walked and ambled to where my feet wanted to take me, but I was such a fool to follow where my body led me knowing that it had betrayed me a long time ago when it started craving for Roscoe's touches.
An overweening smirk completed the look on Alpha Roscoe's face as he saw me at his doorstep. Upon realizing that my feet brought me to my demise instead of safety, I turned around only to be welcomed by the Alpha standing at the door, blocking my way out.
"H-How did you get there?" I asked. I glanced at the working table where the Alpha was a second ago and he was no longer there.
I took a step back.
"Tell me, bambolina. Were you trying to escape me?"
His question triggered a sob from my lips. I nervously shook my head, but that only widened the smirk on his lips.
"You really are your father's daughter. You're a liar too." I shuddered and quickly held his hand too as he clutched my jaw.
"Did you think that you can still escape me, ha? You could try, but because you have been claimed and marked by me, trying to escape won't work for your body will bring you back to me. That's how our venom works and the reason why you're standing in front of me instead of running as far as you can from the pack house."
Alpha checked out my boobs then his eyes moved back to mine.
"You want to know what else those venom do?" He asked.
"It'll make you want me. It'll make you want me to breed you and I know that you've been craving my touches and I am not that sadist, so I'll give it to you."
"Strip and bend over at the table, Elodie. Bend over and spread your legs."
