Chapter 3 Try This with Me?

904 Words
His shoulder bones dug into my stomach, making me wince in pain, and I pounded my fists against his back, screaming and struggling to break free—but he was far stronger than he looked, and my efforts did nothing to slow him down. He carried me through the grand iron gates and into the sprawling villa, slamming the front door shut behind us and twisting the lock into place, trapping us inside. The interior was lavish and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows and opulent decor that screamed old money. Finn tossed me gently onto a plush, soft sofa, and the air in the room shifted instantly, thick with tension and heat. Even in my panicked state, I knew exactly what was about to happen, and my heart hammered against my ribs. He stared down at me, his eyes heated, and he pulled his tie loose with one hand, letting it fall to the marble floor before unbuttoning the top of his dress shirt, revealing a toned, defined chest and lean waist. I couldn't help but sneak a quick glance, my cheeks burning with embarrassment. 'He's in better shape than Julian ever was,' I thought, immediately scolding myself for the irrational thought. Finn clearly noticed my lingering gaze, and he crossed the room toward me, shirt unbuttoned and his gaze burning into mine. I swallowed hard, staring at the prominent veins on his forearms, and scrambled backward on the sofa, wrapping my arms tightly around my chest. "Finn, what are you doing? I'm your brother's girlfriend. You can't do—" I demanded, my voice shaking. It was crystal clear now—his promise to take me to Julian had been nothing but a lie, a trap to lure me here. Finn chuckled low, his eyes glinting with amusement at my weak protest. "You just said you dumped him. Now you're clinging to the title of his girl?" His hand wrapped around my ankle, his touch firm but not rough, and he pulled me across the sofa until I was beneath him, caging me in with his arms. "Look at me. Do you really dislike this? Do you really dislike me?" I stayed silent, unable to lie. Finn was devastatingly handsome, with a face that made it impossible to say no, even when every part of me knew I should. "You have no idea how much it killed me to watch you with him. I hated that he met you first, that he got to have you when I've wanted you for so long. Trust me. I'm going to take everything that was meant to be Julian's. Including you," Finn said, his voice softening. "Enough! Stop talking, you're insane!" I shouted, finally finding my voice, but Finn ignored my protests, leaning in closer, his lips inches from my face. At the last second, I lifted my hand and slapped him hard, the sound echoing through the quiet room. To my shock, Finn didn't pull away—he laughed, touching his stinging cheek with a smirk. "Your hands are just as soft as your waist, Eleanor," he murmured, leaning down and wrapping his arms tightly around me, holding me in place. "What's so great about Julian, anyway? You'll be with him, but not with me? I'm younger, I'm better for you—why won't you look at me?" Finn demanded, his voice rough with frustration. I hugged the small throw pillow to my chest, trembling, and glared up at him, my voice cold. "You're so arrogant." Finn grinned, his eyes glinting with mischief and desire. "I've got every reason to be. So... are you sure you don't want to try this with me?" His eyes were full of longing, and I could see the hunger in his gaze, like he wanted to devour me whole. I shook my head, trying to reason with him. "Finn, snap out of this. This is wrong, it's unethical. You'll regret this." He pinned my wrists above my head, pressing them into the soft sofa cushion, his gaze growing more intense. "I've never been a good man. I don't care about being proper." Before I could scream or protest again, Finn kissed me hard, his lips moving against mine with a desperation that took my breath away. I froze, completely unprepared, having never shared an intimate kiss with anyone—not even Julian. I didn't know how to kiss, didn't know how to breathe through it, and I quickly found myself lightheaded and gasping for air. Finn chuckled softly against my lips, noticing my struggle, and pulled back slightly, his lips trailing down to my earlobe. He nipped and kissed gently at the sensitive skin, moving slowly down my neck, leaving soft, warm marks along my collarbone and chest, taking his time to tease and touch. "You've been with Julian for three years, and you don't even know how to kiss? That's criminal." My face burned with humiliation, my breathing ragged and uneven. "If you think I'm bad at this, then let me go." Finn didn't say a word—he just pulled me closer, holding me tight as I squirmed in his arms. His hand slid down to my waist, fumbling with the zipper of my elegant nude gown, and in an instant, the fabric slipped to the floor in a soft pile. I gasped, pulling away and covering myself, my voice shaking with anger and embarrassment. "You're a jerk!"
