CHAPTER TWELVE   Several Russians called at Madame Fifi's establishment. They came for s*x, and they came to snoop, so, on Madame Fifi's advice, Rita did not serve any of them. She stayed in the shadows, getting a glimpse only now and then of some wide-faced, blond Russian. She hated every one of them. She knew they were trying to ruin Chucho Contera, and she'd heard they were picking on Dolores Delgado, too.
