If there was anyone who was the happiest on Thomas’ visit, it was, of course, Erma. When Thomas announced that he would be staying until Sunday and that he would gladly help the woman with her gardening dilemma----she was ecstatic.
Everyone of them knew how much Erma dreamed of having her own space for gardening. Even back in Tasmania, she had this habit of foraging for plants and herbs in the woods and planting them near the shack that served as their dire house. She is actually quite good at it too. Whatever root or stalk that she has, when she sticks in the ground----a new life begins.
