When the boss was gone and the five men knew that she was out checking Lewis---they stood there looking at each other, not talking, but perhaps trying to figure out what exactly had happened last night. They all had bruises on the oddest parts of their bodies and all were definitely sore from maybe as a result of sleeping in a car and also maybe from brawling. The last part was mere speculation. They do not remember engaging in a fist fight. Lewis was hiding from them in the dark. Added to that, they could not see in pitch dark and so would Lewis. He was not wearing any nightvision equipment either, so that theory was ruled out instantly. Even if they have those in the office as part of their gear---those are never allowed to be used outside the vicinity of the facility.
