It was an uneventful night for them. After the girls feasted in the restaurant across the street and Erin bringing Thomas his share of the feast---they all fell asleep thinking that everything is going according to plans. Erma and Erin were both very excited to face the new life that awaits them in Virginia. In their previous lives, they had very little to eat and very limited comforts in life. Erma had to work tow jobs to make ends meet for her and her daughter, yet, it had never been enough. The prospect of being able to live another life was a thrill for them.
