“Oh, you are home. I thought you said----” “Let’s go to the mall.”Stacy cut Erma’s interrogation. She was in no mood to answer questions after her major disappointment in the little time away in her new spot in the forest.Her mood was still not improving after leaving. She came home and found Erma cleaning the kitchen and all the veggies that she harvested were all gone except for the bowl of fruits that she separated from her stash that morning. Those will be for our personal consumption, since her berries and plums were sweeter than the ones often bought in the grocery store stalls. Plus, the fact that they are organic makes it all worth it. The store brought fruits had a lot of pesticides. “You mean now?” “Yeah.” She slumped on the sofa. “What happened?” Stacy blew raspberries.
