Our Wedding Day

It’s been five days since I was in hospital and is now the morning of mine and Leo’s wedding. Leo and I have agreed on who was invited to the wedding together and are both now on the same page. Leo was next door with his family getting ready and I was eating breakfast when there was a knock on the door. So, Leah answered the door and she said, “hi you all must be here for Luna, correct?”

Xenia then said, “you must be Leah we have heard so much about you.” Leah then said, “you must be Xenia.” Nikolai then said, “I am sorry about my sister for not introducing herself properly, I am Nikolai.” Leah then said, “well come on in all of you.” As Leah was about to close the door Elisabeth arrived and she had a present in her hands and said, “Leah I just wanted to apologise about how my husband acted all those years ago."

Leah then let her in, and she said, “what he did wasn’t right, and he should be the one to apologise but thank you.” I then walked out into the loungeroom, and Xenia excitedly said, “Luna!” She then came up and gave me a big hug. Nikolai then said, “once Xenia has stopped hugging you, I will give you a hug and I hope you don’t mind we bought some company.” Suddenly Garett and Zoe walks out. After I gave Nikolai a hug I ran up to Garett and I gave him a big hug and said, “Garett I’ve missed you so much.” Garett then said, “I have missed you too and where is our little princess at?” Dad then came in with her and he said, “she is right here.” Garett then said, “oh thank god she has had a bath I can finally dress her to see if I need to make any changes to her dress, I made her.”

I then said, “just let me get her nappy to put on her and then you can put her in her dress.” Zoe then said, “once you get her nappy on can you have a seat in a chair so I can start your hair and makeup please.” I then said, “of course Zoe also its good to see you again.” She then said, “it’s good to see you as well.” As she started my makeup Garett had to change Iola’s dress a little and a few minutes later he said, “there its perfect!” As I was about to say something there was a knock at the door. So, dad went and answered it and suddenly we hear a voice saying, “you must be Lunas father.” I then realised who it was, and I yelled, “Aunt Gloria I’m in the kitchen!” Dad then shown her to the kitchen and as soon as she saw me, she said, “look at you my darling you look so different, but you are absolutely beautiful.”

I then said, “thank you Aunt Gloria.” Garett then said, “can we come in now?” I then said, “yes I need to see what she looks like.” Garett then brought Iola in, and I couldn’t believe how gorgeous she looked. Zoe then said, “we are both lucky that I have put waterproof makeup on you and our little princess looks absolutely cute.” I then said, “your daddy is going to cry when he sees you baby.” Aunt Gloria then said, “so are you going to tell me who’s baby this is?” I then said, “Aunt Gloria meet your great, great niece Iola.” Elizabeth came in and she said, “I was going to ask you the same thing.” I then said in panic, “please don’t tell your husband about her I don’t need him calling her a bastard as well.”

Aunt Gloria then said, “if he does call her that he will be getting a mouthful from me, and I’m surprised that he let you come Elizabeth.” Elizabeth then said, “he doesn’t know and as far as I am concerned what he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.” Aunt Gloria then said, “he will find a way to figure out where you are.” I then said, “I asked her not to tell him where she was going because that was the only way I was going to let her come to Leo’s and my wedding.” While we were talking, I didn’t realise that Garett had passed Iola to Nikolai and said, “now that your makeup is done let’s get you in your dress so Zoe can do your hair.”

Once Garett got the dress out, I said, “Garett once again you have outdone yourself.”

My dress was a beautiful sleeveless dress with a little Starian flare. Nikolai then said, “I will take Iola to see Leo for her dress reveal.” I then smiled and said, “thank you.”

Leo’s point of view.

As I finished getting ready dad came in and said, “we need you to face the wall with your eyes closed.” I then said, “why what’s going to happen?” He then said, “nothing bad is going to happen just do it.” So, I did as I was told and a couple of minutes later dad then said, “you can open your eyes and turn around now.” So, I did and as I did, I could feel tears run down my face as I saw my beautiful daughter in a pink dress. I then walked up to her and picked her up out of Nikolai’s arms and said, “you look beautiful my little Stardust.” Orion then said, “she is the most beautiful little princess I know.” Nikolai then took a photo of us, and said, “I think Luna would love to see this.”

Luna’s point of view.

Suddenly my phone buzzed and as soon as I opened my phone, I had the biggest smile on my face. “you guys need to see this.” I happily said. Everyone then piled around me, and Leah said, “look at all of the love in this photo.” I then said, “yeah she has had him wrapped around her little finger since the second she was born.” Dad then came in and he said, “you look absolutely beautiful sweetheart are you ready?” I then smiled and said, “I am as ready as I will ever be.” Everyone then quickly left the house to find their seats and as we got to the back door dad said, “I know what you are going to say but if you are having second thoughts about this, I will sneak you away.” I then smiled and said, “dad thank you, but I think I am good I am about to marry the love of my life.”

Dad then opened the door and said, “well shall we.” Once we got through the door, I wrapped my arm around dads, and we headed down towards the aisle and as soon as we got there, I couldn’t believe my eyes as I looked at the man I am about to marry. Tears threatened to fall down my face as I slowly started to approach him. He had a black suit on with a singular red rose in the pocket of his coat which is my favourite flower. His hair was styled in a way I have never seen it before but what I thought was hot which is in a manbun since his hair had grown since the last time, I had described him. As I got closer to him, I couldn’t help but smile and even though I can hear all the beautiful comments made by everyone in my eyes and in my head, it was only him and I.

Leo’s point of view.

As I heard the music playing to indicate that Luna was about to start walking down the aisle, I turned around to watch the love of my life walk down the aisle to me, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Luna is always beautiful in my eyes but today she is the most beautiful I have ever seen her. Her hair was in a beautiful half up half down braid with a red rose crown on. Which made her eyes pop even more and her wedding dress was a white sleeveless dress with Starian patterns which I know was Garett’s creation. Which was when I realised that tears of pure joy started running down my face.

Lunas point of view.

As I got to Leo, I had tears running down my face and dad then gave me a hug and placed my hand into Leos. As I looked at Leo, I couldn’t help but have a smile on my face that matched his. After everyone were seated the priest then said, “thank you and welcome to the wedding of Luna Jackson and Leo Galaxy who here gives away this beautiful young lady?” Dad and Leah then stood up and they said, “we do.” He then said, “Luna and Leo have you come here to enter Marriage without coercion, freely and wholeheartedly? Are you prepared, as you follow the path of Marriage, to love and honour each other for as long as you both shall live? Are you prepared to accept children lovingly from God and to bring them up according to the law of Christ?” Leo and I took turns in saying, “I am.”

He then said, “since it is your intention to enter into the covenant of Holy Matrimony, join your right hands, and declare your consent before God.” Leo then said, “I Leo take you, Luna, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honour you all the days of my life.” I then said, “I Luna, take you, Leo to be my husband. I promise to be faithful to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, to love you and to honour you all the days in my life.” He then said, “Leo do you take Luna for your lawful wife to have and to hold from this day forward for better for worse for richer for poorer in sickness and in health until death do you part?” Leo then said, “I do.”

He then said, “Luna do you take Leo for your lawful husband to have and to hold from this day forward for better for worse for richer for poorer in sickness and in health until death do you part?” I then said, “I do.” He then said, “can we please have the rings.” Caster gave my ring to Leo and Xenia gave Leos to me. Leo then said while putting my ring on my finger, “Luna receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit.” I then placed his ring on his finger while saying, “Leo receive this ring as a sign of my love and fidelity. In the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit.” He then said, “now with the power vested in me I now pronounce you as husband and wife you my now kiss your bride.”

Leo then swung me down low and kissed me like no one was watching.” As we finished our kiss and Leo brought me back up, he lifted my hand in the air and he yelled, “we did it!” I then laughed at him before giving him a kiss on the cheek. We then walked back down the aisle and waited for the wedding photographer to tell us what to do. For the next half an hour we had photos taken with the whole family and some of just the two of us and some with just us and Iola.
