As I was speaking, I could see all the love Leo has for me especially when I saw the tears of happiness running down his handsome face. Sally then took the microphone from me, and she said, “that was beautiful Luna.” Leo then said, “Sally can you take Iola for a second.” So, Sally then took Iola and as soon as she did Leo pulls me into a passionate kiss in front of everyone.

I could hear Xenia cheering us on which made me laugh which made Leo pull away and said, “thank Xenia.” I then took Iola from Sally and she said, “now it’s time to hear the speech from the father of the bride.” Dad then stood up and took the microphone from her and said, “where do I start? Luna, I first met you when you started high school, and I had the privilege to teach you from year seven to your last year of school. From all those years of teaching you I knew that you were strong and one of the smartest people I have ever had the privilege to teach. After your mother passed away and before I knew I was your father I swore to always keep an eye out for you and when you decided that you wanted to stay with Leah and I it was one of the happiest days of my life. I remember the day that we found out I was your father.

I was upset because I wasn’t there to see all your first steps, but I was also over the moon because not only did I have a daughter but that you had the father that you deserved from the start, and I decided that from that day forward that everything that I done was for you and Leah. I thank my lucky star for letting me be your dad. Now onto Leo when I first met you, I didn’t know what to expect.

I remember the first day I had you in my class and I remember when you said that you wanted to sit next to my daughter, and I remember feeling protective over her and I knew I couldn’t show it because of the situation. But over the weeks that you and Luna were always together I could see the way that you both looked at each other and it reminded me of the way I looked at both her mother and Leah.

You were and still are the joker of our little family and I want to thank you for looking after my little girl and for bringing Iola into our lives I will never forget it, but one last thing please don’t break her heart because her heart won’t be the only heart that is broken.” Sally then took the microphone away from him and said, “thanks for that speech, Steve now I believe that Gloria wanted to say a few words.” Aunt Gloria then got up and walked over to Sally and took the microphone from her and placed it on the stand and said, “before I say my speech how about we keep the microphone on the stand, so you don’t have to keep passing it to each other.” I then couldn’t help but laugh and she then said, “Luna you are lucky that it is your special day.

Now I remember the day that beautiful Ashley ended up at my front door with tears in her eyes. So of course, I let her in straight away and I made her my special hot chocolate recipe, and I asked her what was going on. She had then told me that she was pregnant, and I knew what her father was like and so I let her stay with me until I helped her buy her house, land and her car. Months later she called me saying that she was in the hospital and by the time I got there she had a beautiful little baby in her arms.

She told me that she named her baby Luna Steven Covington.” Steve then cut her off and said, “wait I didn’t know your middle name is Steven.”

I then said, “oh yeah I thought for some reason that you would have known that was my middle name.” Steve then said, “well I’m glad that you had something of mine since you were born.” Aunt Gloria then said, “back to what I was saying, as soon as I looked into your eyes, I knew that you were going to be someone incredible. I know for a fact that your mum would be extremely proud of you and the lady that you have become I also know that she would absolutely love the young man that you have chosen to spend the rest of your life with, and she would be in love with little Iola as well. Luna I am proud of you I love you all.” Sally then walked up to the mic, and she said, “now we are going to hear from Leah followed by Orion, Caster, Nova, Nikolai and Xenia but first I want to say something.

Luna thank you for making my brother-in-law the happiest I have ever seen him I am lucky to have the both of you as in laws I love you both.” Sally then walked away from the microphone and Leah walked up to it and said, “two years ago I had the pleasure to meet both my stepdaughter and my stepson in law and I had watched them both grow into the beautiful people they are today.”

Leo thank you for being Luna’s friend when she first moved in with us, she lost the only friend that she had and then the next day she brought you home with her and I could tell from the look that you gave each other that you were meant to be with each other. Luna I am lucky to get to have you as my stepdaughter and I know that if I had the chance to meet your mum that we would have been the best of friends.

Your father, brother and I love you both so much and we are all so lucky to have you in our life’s.” Orion then walked up to the microphone, and he said, “hi everyone for those who don’t know me I am Leo’s very proud father. I remember when Leo was only a little boy, and he was watching a movie where a couple were getting married, and he said that he would never get married because it looks like too much work and now here, we are. About ten years later at his wedding reception watching how happy Luna has made him and not only did that she brought back our Leo that we haven’t seen since his mother passed away. So, we thank you Luna from the bottom of our hearts because if it wasn’t for you, we might never have gotten to see this side of him again or get to have the most gorgeous granddaughter alive. Luna you and any more future kids you have complete our happy family we love you.”

As Orion left Caster walked up to the microphone and said, “hi everyone I’m the more handsome Galaxy son. When Leo rung me to say that he had met a girl that he wanted to be more than friends with I thought he was joking. So, I asked him to send a picture of this so-called girl that he had met and as soon as he sent the picture I was in shock. Not only was she a girl but she was a good-looking girl. I remember when Leo came back when dad was sick, and I asked why he didn’t bring Luna with him because I wanted to show her what a real man looks like.” I then started laughing and Caster said, “thanks Luna that was the reaction I was hoping for when I said it to Leo but instead of laughing, he glared at me and at that moment I knew that he was in love with her. I didn’t understand why though I knew she was pretty but what was he hiding.

One day he brought her home and none of the photos Leo showed me could show how beautiful she was in person and then when Leo couldn’t help me with my homework Luna helped me understand straight away. That was when I saw why he was so into her it was because she was kind, thoughtful, smart and she was pretty and there are a whole lot more words I could use to describe her, but it would take all night. Leo I am glad that I got to have an older brother like you ever since we were little you have always had my back and I am so thankful for that, and I know that you are going to and already are the best dad to Iola and I can’t wait to see how much you all grow with each other as a family I love you all.”

Before Caster could leave the microphone Leo got up and ran to Caster and gave him a huge hug and said, “I love you too little brother.” Once they stopped hugging and were both sitting down in their seats Nova walked up to the microphone and said, “I remember when I was three years old, and my parents walked up to me saying that they have exciting news and that was when I found out that I was going to be a big sister. I didn’t want to be a big sister and so I started crying but by the time the gender reveal shown up I was coming around to the idea.

But only if I was getting a little sister but when I saw the blue confetti flying around us, I wasn’t happy and that was when I said in front of everyone who came mummy daddy can we swap the baby for a girl and if not, can we give the baby away so you can have a girl. But they both said no and then the day of your birth came and as soon as I saw you, I knew that I couldn’t go through with my plan to give you to another couple. When mum introduced you to me, she said that you were my baby brother, but I immediately corrected her by saying no mummy that’s my baby and both mum and dad thought that was funny but at that age I wasn’t sure how it was funny. I said the exact same thing when Caster was born too and that was when mum passed away a few months later.

So, then what I had said to them became somewhat true because only I could show them the motherly love. Luna you are the sister I always wanted I am so grateful that you came into our lives when you did because if you didn’t, I don’t think Leo would still be here. Because when dad was in the hospital, he was wearing himself out so much that he nearly ended up in the hospital as well but then your birthday came up and I told him to go. But anyways congratulations you two I love you both so much.” Nikolai and Xenia both decided to have a joint speech and so they both came up to the microphone and Nikolai said, “first of all I just wanted to congratulate you both on getting married and that we are proud of the both of you.”

Xenia then said, “when I first met you Luna, I was so excited because I only had my older brother to keep me company but that all changed when I met you. You were so brave and strong, and I wish that I could be as brave and strong as you are one day." Nikolai then said, “mum and dad asked me to say that they are so proud of the both of you and that they are sorry that they both couldn’t make it, but my mum’s sister was having her baby they also said that they love you both so much and they can’t wait until they see you again.” Xenia then said, “well since we are all hungry, we will stop our speech now so, we can all eat something.”

Suddenly the hired caterers showed up with trolleys of cooked food and they started handing them out to everyone they even had an extra plate for Henry. Once all the food was handed out, we all dug in once everyone was finished Sally walked up to the microphone and she said, “it’s time to cut the cake.” I then said, “before we cut the cake, I just wanted to ask Henry something. I know that when we first met, we both had said some hurtful things but I’m willing to put that all behind us and I was wondering do you want to hold your great-granddaughter Iola Imogen Ashley Galaxy?” Henry then got up with tears in his eyes and he walked up to us, and he gave me a big hug said, “I am so sorry, and I would love to.”

He then took Iola from me and sat down with her in his arms. I then walked up to the cake with Leo and together we cut the cake and while he wasn’t looking, I wiped some of the icing off the knife and I said, “hey Speckles you got a little something on your nose.” He then turn to look at me and I wiped the frosting onto his nose. He then started laughing and he gave me a kiss, and, in the process, he wiped his nose on my cheek. We then grabbed our pieces of cake, and we walked over to where Henry and Iola were sitting, and I gave a piece of cake to Henry, and I then dabbed my finger into my cake, and I then dabbed the frosting onto the Iola’s nose. Once she finally realised what had happened, she started smiling.

Leo then looked at Iola and he started laughing and said, “you look gorgeous Stardust, but you know what will look better if your mummy has some too.” He then dabbed some frosting onto my nose. So, I then said, “daddy needs some more on his nose too.” So, I placed Iola’s hand into my icing, and I used her hand to wipe it onto her dad’s nose. Leah then walked up, and she said, “now this looks like a good photo.” I then said, “Leo and I will go on each side of Iola and her great pop.” Henry then said, “the photo isn’t complete just yet.”

He then dabbed his hand into his cake, and he dabbed the icing onto his nose and said, “ok now we are photo ready.” Leah then took the photo and Elizabeth and Aunt Gloria walked up to us and when they realised what had happened Aunt Gloria said, “now this is a surprise to see have you hit your head or something?” Henry then said, “these past two years have opened my eyes and showed me that family is all that matters.” Elizabeth then said, “I am so proud of you darling.” He then said, “you were most of the reason why I chose to change my love.” Sally then walked up to the microphone, and she said, “the dance floor is now opened for everyone to dance on!” Caster then said, “may I have this dance little princess?”

Henry then laughed and passed Iola over to Caster and he took her out onto the dance floor. I then took Henrys hand and I said, “would you like to dance with me pop?” He then smiled and said, “I would love nothing more than to dance with you." So, he leaded me out onto the dance floor and while we were dancing, he said, “you look very beautiful tonight, and did you know that your mother wore a dress like this but purple for her formal.” I then said, “wait she did?” He then said, “yes and as soon as I saw you in this dress all I could see was your mother in you.” I then smiled with tears threatening to fall down my face and I said, “I’m glad that I could bring some of her here with me.”

He then wiped the tears away from eyes and said, “you didn’t need a dress to do that you have her blood in you and that is more than enough.” We then finished our dance and that was when the girls pulled me away from pop and they said, “its time.” We then walked out to the other side of the dance floor and Sally quickly ran over to the microphone and she said, “we have a special performance for you guys, and we hope you like it hit!” Suddenly all eyes were on us, and I’m A Lady by Meghan Trainor started playing. So, we all grabbed our partner, and we started doing a sexy dance with each other.

My partner was Xenia and Sally, and Nova were dancing with each other and that was when we started getting whistled at. When dad came back from the bathroom, he couldn’t believe his eyes and he yelled, “my poor eyes I need bleach.” Leah then walked up to him and dropped it low in front of him and when she got back up, she said, “we did a dance like this at our wedding and my dad didn’t carry on like this.” Dad then said, “that’s true sorry everyone.” Once our dance was over Leo walked over to me and he whispered into my ear, “after that dance I just want to get you home and have our own private dance.” I then gave him a smirk and said, “well if that’s what you want Mr Galaxy.”

He then said, “yes that is what I want Mrs Galaxy.” So, Leo and I walked over to Caster, and I said, “can we steal our little Stardust back please.” Caster then passed her over and said, “of course she’s your daughter you don’t have to ask.” Leo then said, “but she is your niece.” Caster then said, “well I’m going to go out on to the dance floor have fun guys.” I then yelled, “don’t stay out for too long.” He then yelled back, “it’s only eight pm.” We then took Iola over to the table that had her jacket and blanket on it, and we put her jacket on and wrapped her blanket around her.

We then took her outside and we sat on the closest wooden chair, and I gave Iola the biggest cuddle. Leo then smiled at us and took his phone out and took a photo of me holding her up, so our foreheads were touching, and we both had the biggest smile on our faces. I then realised what he was doing, and I said, “was it good?” He then said, “what the photo of my two most favourite people? Yes, they always look good in any photo.” I then smiled and said, “I love you Mr Galaxy.” He then said, “and I love you more Mrs Galaxy.” I then looked at Iola and said, “I hope you had a great day my little Stardust.” Leo then said, “she would have especially since “now” her mummy shares our last name with us.”

I then said, “well then we should take a family selfie so we can keep this memory for the rest of our lives.” Leo then said, “I think that would be a fantastic idea.” He then picked me up while I was holding Iola and he placed me on his lap. I then laughed and with one hand holding Iola I got my phone out and I took a family selfie. When I checked to see if the photo was good Leo had his hand on top of mine that is holding Iola and he has the biggest smile on his face. Our little Stardust was staring at my phone pulling a face of wonder which I couldn’t help but laugh at.

Leo then said, “what’s so funny?” I then smiled and said, “look at Iola’s face.” I then passed him my phone and he laughed and said, “this is the face you pulled when we arrived at Starian.” I then laughed and I said, “really it’s good to know that Iola has some of my facial expressions.” Leo then said, “what do you mean? when I look at her all I can see is you.” I then said, “all I see is you in her.”

Leah then walked out with her camera, and she said, “this moment looks too good to not take a photo of.” I then said, “well your camera skills are better than mine so we will take that photo.” Leo then laughed and he made sure that he had me in a good grip he stood up and was holding me in bridal position.

While I had Iola in my arms facing her nana. Leah then laughed and she said, “that’s perfect now smile.” So, we gave her our biggest smiles and that was when dad walked out and he started laughing and once Leah took that photo dad took Iola out of my arms and I asked, “hey Leah can you take a photo of Leo and I on my phone?” She then said, “of course I can.” So, Leo placed me down and I gave Leah my phone with the camera app up. Once I got back to Leo, he picked me back up which made me laugh. Once we were both looking at Leah, she took a few photos and she said, “perfection.” Leo then placed me back down and Leah gave me my phone back and dad said, “so are you two heading off now?” I then said, “we are about to sneak off yeah.”

Leo then took Iola from dad, and he gave her a big hug and kiss and said, “I love you my little princess be good for nana and poppy.”

I then gave her a big kiss and I said, “I love you my little Stardust sweet dreams we will see you tomorrow.” Leo then passed her back to Leah and we headed towards the car he bought and before we got into the car I said, “wait I want to take one more photo of us together.” Leo then laughed and said, “if that’s what my wife wants.” I then smiled and said, “yes, it is.” Leo then laughed and walked behind me, and he placed his arms around my waist, and I said, “now show the hand with your wedding ring on it.” So, with one arm around my waist and the other one showing off our wedding rings we acted surprised, and I took the photo.

As soon as we got into the car Leo got into the driver seat and he headed towards our house. While we were driving home, I got my social media up and I changed my profile to that picture we just took with the caption, so we just done something with Leo Galaxy. Twenty minutes later we arrived home and Leo said, “now you wait just here so I can unlock and open the doors so I can carry you inside into our room.” I then said, “wait I have organised a surprise for us back at the place where our love started.”

Leo then said, “wait at the school?” I then laughed and said, “no at the tree house.” Leo then said, “well do you want to drive there or walk?” I then said, “lets walk down it’s only a couple of minutes away.”

So, we locked the car and we walked to the tree house hand in hand. Once we got to the tree house there were fake candles lit and a big scrap book waiting with covered food. Leo then asked, “Dimples how did you set this all up?” I then said, “I had a bit of help from Garett.” Leo then laughed and said, “of course you did he loves you.” I then said, “well it’s hard not to.” Leo then laughed and said, “ain’t that the truth and shall we climb up?” I then said, “we shall.” I then took my shoes off and I started to climb the ladder. Leo then had his arms ready to catch me and he said, “be careful Dimples.”

I then was on the balcony, and I smiled, and said, “I’m always careful.” Leo then laughed and climbed up after me. Once he was sitting next to me, he saw the scrapbook and he said, “so what in the scrapbook?” I then smiled and said, “we are going to have a trip down memory lane.” I then passed the scrapbook to Leo and as soon as he opened the book he laughed and he said, "we were so young then." I then said, “that was the day that we met each other dad sent me this photo that the deputy principal took of us when we were working that he used for the new sign up at the high school.” Leo then said, “so this here is technically the first ever photo taken of us.” I then smiled and said, “yeah it is.” We then looked further into the scrapbook, and we had many laughs and many tears shed as well.

Once we finished looking through the scrap book Leo said, “well shall we have some of this finger food?” I then said, “we shall.” As we were eating Leo looked at me and he asked, “can you change the stars for me?” I then smiled at him, and I said, “of course I would do anything for you.” I then used my powers and just like when we found out I was pregnant he had a look of pure proudness on his face. Once I stopped, I said, “shall we go inside now husband?” He then smiled and said we shall wife.” He then quickly climbed down, and he said, “jump I will catch you.” So, I sat down, and I used my arms to push me off the balcony and just like he said he caught me.

Once we got to the front door Leo quickly ran and unlocked and opened the front and our bedroom door and when he got back, he picked me up bridal style and walked us inside. He then kicked the door shut behind us and locked the door. Once we got to our bedroom, he laid me down and he gave me a loving look and he said, “you were such a beautiful bride today.” I then said, “well I had to match my handsome groom.” He then got on top of me and he started to kiss all the skin that he could access on my body and when he ran out of skin, he took my dress off me and when he saw the lacy under garments, I had on. He started to smirk and that was when he started to tease me until he couldn’t take teasing me anymore and that was when he started to make love to me.
