QUIET taps of fingers on her chin was heard as Universe tought of anything they could do to ease the boredom.
Corey Knight on the other hand got himself busy by twirling a stick with his fingers in a swift motion.
" Okay! "
The naive girl exclaimed causing the bad boy to drop his stick, started by her outburst.
" W-why don't we f-orm a story, taking turns to complete it? "
She grinned and he stared at her blankly.
Corey Knight was feeling frustrated about being stuck in a tunnel for hours and making up stories was the least of his concern.
" Not interested "
He said before continuing to twirl the stick again.
" Please..it'll be fun. I p-promise "
The naive girl pouted before clasping her hands before her.
" Not.Interested "
" Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please, pl-"
" Fine "
He snapped, cutting her off and snapping the stick in two due to his frustration.
" Yay! O-okay. Who's starting? "
She asked with a grin while he just blinked at her.
" O-okay, I'll start then. Once upon a time, there was a princess "
" Her name was Buffy "
He added bluntly before l*****g his plump lips.
Universe slightly frowned at his choice of name.
The naive girl wanted the princess' name to be sweet like; Bella, Anna or even Clarice.
But not Buffy.
But atleast he decided to play with her. With that thought, she continued.
" A-and she lived in a beautiful tower "
" And the tower was filled with snakes and witches "
He added again and she frowned.
" B-but she had a pretty wand that could protect her from them "
" But one day, the wand got flushed down her toilet "
He added and she frowned again before trying to cover it up.
" A-and then her fairy godmother heard this and set off to find her and g-give her another magic wand "
" But then she got hit by a train and then died "
The bad boy added again before running his hand through his hair and smirking.
The story was now enjoyable for him.
" B-but then the...the, uh..bu-but then she woke up again and went to meet Princess Buffy with her new wand "
" But when she got there. Princess Buffy was already dead because she didn't have anything to protect her from the evil witches and snakes "
He added with a smirk and Universe gave him a look of horror.
" Yo-You're being mean "
She said as tears filled her eyes.
The bad boy's smirk immediately fell from his face as he stared at the naive girl in shock.
" You're crying?! Why?! "
He exclaimed, throwing his hands up in shock.
" B-because you're being mean and ruining the story "
She whined as tears spilled from her eyes.
" Okay Fine?! The fairy godmother gave Princess Buffy the new wand and they destroyed all the snakes and witches and lived happily ever after together. Are you satisfied now? "
He asked and she wiped her eyes before grinning with a nod.
" Jesus "
He whispered still looking at the girl in shock.
Noticing how Universe was fidgeting under his gaze, she finally snapped out of it and looked at the wall she was leaning on instead.
After several moments of silence, the naive girl finally broke the silence with a question.
" D-do you have siblings? "
She asked and watched as he visibly tensed.
" Y-you don't have to ans-"
" A little sister "
He answered cutting her off before picking up his stick and twirling it again to distract himself.
" W-what's her name? "
" Janet..Jane for short "
" Tell me about her "
She grinned as she stared at him even if he looked to be deep in thought.
" She was four when I last saw her. She'd be eight by now. Stays with my dad in Canada "
He said and she noticed how he pronounced the word 'dad' in distaste.
" Oh "
She muttered not questioning him further.
Her mouth would open to ask a question about it but then she'd immediately shut it.
The process continued till he spoke.
" You seem curious. My parents are divorced "
He said with a chuckle and she blushed in embarrassment.
He had caught her gaping.
